Why the color difference?
Hi, so I just bought this bigger bottle, and the color is clearly different, more yellow, than my previous tiny bottle. Any idea why?

The title is a joke, of course. But I do have these holes everywhere on the walls, and I see them in other buildings as well. Do you know what they’re for?
EDIT: reframing my question - do they serve a purpose or are they a deliberate aesthetic decision to show the structural elements of the building?
What’s the purpose of these holes on the walls? I see it in several buildings in Tokyo.
The title is just a joke, of course!
Thank you :)
Hi. Does anyone know if there’s a physical store in Tokyo selling the manta or nomad where I can test them? I know, the answer is likely no, but still trying :)
So I’m going through something really weird. I typed my passcode several times, but it says “passcode incorrect”. It took me to the recovery code. I have it, used it, but….recovery code incorrect. I even asked a colleague if I was making some mistake copying the recovery code, but they confirmed every letter was right.
I also have access through the app on my phone. I don’t want to factory reset….it makes no sense.
Has this happened to anyone else?
Hi there. I’ll be in Ebisu for a month, do you know of any personal trainers that speak English? I know there’s a couple of gyms and studios in the area, but hard to know if anyone speaks English. Thank you!
Hi! I’ve been trying to decide for months which eink tablet to buy. Particularly because I do long hours of work and need a device for note taking (and personal use like journaling) that allows me to rest my eyes.
I’ve been on the comparison thing for months really. And I think the supernote would generally be an easy pick if it wasn’t a Chinese company - security is really important to me -, and if it had a front light.
Now that I’m basically deciding for the second best option, remarkable, and hoping it will get better organsiation features over time, I have a new dilemma. A bright white screen like the rm2 or the upcoming pure…or the front light of the pro?
But I actually don’t have a clear idea of how much light you need to use a rm2, is it like you need a really bright daylight environment? Is it still fine to look at around 7pm on a winter day with normal indoor lighting? I’m not going to use it in bed at night with lights off. But I’d absolutely hate if I couldn’t use it at night in a normally lit room. Are there other accessibility features I should know of? Do you think the front light on the pro would be “a good to have”, despite the grayish screen? And how bad is that refresh time feeling after several updates?
Thank you!
Europe's largest IT security provider is
investing 40 million euros in the development of AI models. "We believe that the future of cybersecurity must not depend entirely on models controlled by big tech." In cybersecurity, "it's about sovereignty," says the Eset boss.
With the new plugin tab, are there cybersecurity risks to consider? Is there any kind of verification of what goes in there?
This is an honest concern as I’m choosing between tablets. Of course, I can always not download any plugin, but the risk is still there if there’s no verification of what is added by someone (not well intentioned) in the community.
So that’s it, I need to find a place where I can do a work call for like an hour around Marienplatz. I’m thinking worse case the new Starbucks in the metro. But maybe someone has a better idea?
I use barefoot shoes for almost 3 years exclusively (mostly Vivobarefoot, if it matters). I use them for daily walking, at the gym, and for hikes.
I always walk about 18k steps per day when on holidays, and an average of 8k steps per day. No issue for all these years.
But last week I was on holiday and did all those daily steps, not much resting really, and noticed some pain starting on the outside of my heels and on the sides of both feet and ankles. It did get better in the mornings.
Then I got back home and to the gym and did some 30min on the treadmill with an elevation of 8. And damn the next day my feet and ankles and up to the tights were in pain. Definitely not something I feel with any cardio exercise.
So, I understand Reddit is not a doctor, but I’m curious if anyone had a period feeling like this and if it could be related to the shoes. This is the first time I’m questioning the shoes, I absolutely love them, there’s nothing better than having my feet on the ground instead of those wobbly shoes. But yeah maybe someone has been through the same.
Thank you!
Hi everyone, I am trying to find where to eat in Salamanca - and there’s plenty of choice - but I don’t really know where to go. Mainly as many of the recommended places on other subreddits are closed on Tuesdays. Any ideas? Thank you :)
