What is your favorite Blood Angels Successor Chapter and why?

Got curious and started exploring successor chapters because i've spent so much of my time in the fandom just sticking to the OG Founding Chapters.

Slowly, i've been settling on a favorite in all of my favorite chapters.
For the Blood Angels, i've settled on the Charnel Guard because I think they're just such a unique spin on the Blood Angels while playing up that "Vampire" Angle from a whole nother perspective.

So i'm curious; What's your favorite Blood Angels Successor Chapter?

Is there something unique about how the Raven Guard handles Successor Chapters?

So idk if the Fandom Wiki has been AI'd to hell or if someone just lazily copy-pasted across it, but every mention of the topic of Raven Guard successor chapters refers to them as "rare", fails to cite a source on this, and fails to explain why.

Looking over how many Successor Chapters there are, i'm a little confused considering there seems to be a decent number of them, even compared to chapters like the Salamanders, so i'm curious if there's any merit to that use of the word "rare".

Are Raven Guard successor Chapters 'rare'? And if so, is there a specific in-lore reason for that?
I don't recall ever reading anything about them being overly frugal with their gene-seed or particularly antagonistic to the Codex

Criticisms about Down Darker Trails' Modules and questions about good conversion modules for the setting.

My usual group recently switched things up and allowed for me to take a shot at the Keeper role for our use of the Down Darker Trails modules.

This was my first time as keeper but my friend and I have been bouncing between CoC and Delta Green for years, always with him as the keeper. So the two of us have a lot of veterancy in the settings.

We've been having fun with the modules so far, but even outside my inexperience in the keeper role, these scenarios just feel a tad lacking compared to what we're used to.

The Scenarios they offer constantly seem to be lacking in the "investigation" category. Often there's no real clues or leads for our investigators to follow, only obvious red herrings that lead nowhere or just. . .nothing. There's no excitement for my players in figuring anything out for themselves, just spinning their wheels until the plot spells itself out for them.

The enemies also seem poorly thought out. Something from Below doesn't even give you any means for the players to deal with Formless Spawn and Shadows over Stillwater throws literally basic ass DnD zombies at you for seemingly no other reason than combat filler? It also makes no mention of the curse of Yig anywhere despite the entire thing centering around Serpent People....

Needless to say, i'm a tad disappointed with these modules, as I think the setting is super cool with plenty of potential for interesting and unique takes on the mythos.

That said, has anyone ever tried converting any other existing modules to Down Darker Trails? I'd be curious to here which ones people have tried with positive results or which ones people think could be good candidates.

My players are close to finishing up Shadows and as much as I want to try some homebrew shenanigans, I feel like I need a bit more experience as a Keeper before I start making my own scenarios for them.

Any suggestions are welcome!

What is the trigger(s) for Marazhai doing. . ."that". . .in his Ending Slides?

Was looking over Marazhai's endings to see if there was something that could be done to avoid him decapitating Astartia Werserian in the Epilogue.

Been having a little trouble figuring out what exactly the triggers are for certain slides.

Is this really his "Default" ending if you don't romance him or convince him to get down with the clown?

or is there like a certain action that can be taken/avoided to prompt that?

Best I could discern is he really does just do that if you let him survive until the end unless you choose to bang him or clown him. . .is that right?

So, who do you bring with you to your Coronation on Dargonus?

When you start the ceremony, the Master of Ceremonies asks you to pick two people to stand beside you during your Coronation.
Curious as to who other players pick for that.

I always feel obligated to bring Abelard.
Dude's already the most reliable and dutiful member of my team both on and off the battlefield, but then upon learning the history of his family and the way the other nobles treat the Werserians like they don't "count" as "real" nobles, I always feel obligated to stick it to the other houses in as many ways as possible.

The Werserians earned that right so it's only fair my Seneschal is beside me the whole way.

Past that, I usually take my romance choice depending on the run.
I'm romancing Cassia on my Noble Officer Iconoclast run and let me tell ya, 50 Navigator's insight for letting her stand beside me is enough of a treat that I feel tempted to pick her even when i'm NOT romancing her.

But what about you? Who do you always pick as your two to stand beside you during the ceremony?

Honestly pretty annoyed with how Fair Trade (Lex Imperialis DLC) railroads you into that climax...

I finished up Fair Trade for the first time and I gotta say, i'm honestly disappointed that the quest almost seems to punish you for spotting the conspiracy; Something that Owlcat is usually really good about doing the complete opposite of, instead rewarding you for catching context clues and putting things together.

Like, there were so many hints, context clues and other nudges to make it obvious to anyone with Meta-Knowledge that some Tzeentch-level Heresy was happening on Thassera

Yet, despite taking careful effort to grab the necklace, the key, the sword AND the mask and discard them all from my inventory, Bluff STILL goes "But you forgot about the necklace! haha!" as if you still had it on your person.

And you'd think maybe i'm expecting too much out of Owlcat here but they've set a precedent for this kind of thing in Pathfinder: Kingmaker, in the tutorial no less. If you throw away Tartuccio's ring (or just don't equip it) you get unique dialogue when he tries to frame you where you can play coy and go "What Ring? [Show hands]"

So like, i'm not crazy, they've done stuff like that before.

Combine this with how much the Void Shadows DLC rewards you for Sleuthing and reading between the lines and it just feels like you're being forced into the Body Swap section because they felt super clever and didn't want you to be able to skip it.

In some weird way, it feels like i'm being Cursed by Tzeentch IRL for being forced to watch my fate play out on Thassera and having no way of preventing it
