First off I LIVE IN A RESTRICTED STATE. So everyone jumping in telling me to build an AR-15 that’s superior for half the price I’m very happy you can do that but unfortunately I can’t (w/o a fixed mag) eww

I like the mini for its less expensive ammo so I can practice more. I like the SOCOM because I’m limited to 10+1 so having the 308 would be nice to help compensate for capacity limits. Almost feel like I should start with a 223 rifle practice a ton then later get a 308 but that very expensive! I’m new to carbines but have been conceal carrying a g43x for two years and been shooting my 590a1 for almost a year now so intermediate experience level. Thanks!
