Hello all! I have a severe gnat problem, and neem oil and sticky strips are just not cutting it.
I've heard people praise nematodes as a great solution, but the bit of research I did made me nervous.
How big do they get? Is there any possibility of them leaving the soil/pot? What's the situation like after they die? Is there another alternative for the weak of heart?
Hello! I have a newly-purchases pothos here that was veeeerry long but had sparse leaves, so I chopped it down to a couple nodes above the surface. The roots were bound but VERY healthy and strong, so I knew it'd pull through
After about a week it started to grow at a couple new spots, and for about a week or two they were very slowly growing. However, I saw today that the tips were yellowing.
I want to know if this is cause for concern, or if the plant is just rerouting resources to the new growth? I haven't watered it in probably two weeks, trying to take care of gnats and mushrooms (clearly I've been overwatering), and it's near a SW-facing window but out of direct sunlight
Bought some looooong pothos plants for very cheap, several feet long but very few leaves! So I decided to start fresh and cut/propagate over 120 nodes, and repotted the roots to a larger fresh pot. Here's my sphagnum moss setup (lid is off-screen)
