Xbox one first edition cooling

I recently did an ssd mod and put on some new thermal past. Problem ist that the console shuts off after like 1hour, bc of overheating, it’s really hot outside and in my room. I cool down my room as good as possible, but sadly the Xbox still overheats and shuts down. When I touch it ist so hot that leaving my hand on, for couple of seconds, is really uncomfortable but the fan works. So any ideas against overheating? like modding some parts or do other things to keep it cool.

5.1 surround works in Netflix/YouTube/AppleTV but not Disney+, Steam Link, or Moonlight

I’m trying to figure out where the problem is in my audio chain.

Hardware:
Xiaomi TV Stick 4K (2nd Gen, Google TV / Android TV 14) -> HDMI -> Sony Bravia KDL-32W655A -> Optical (TOSLINK) -> Samsung HT-BD1255

What works (example):
- Netflix outputs proper 5.1 surround.
- YouTube 5.1 test videos seem to play correctly.
- Apple TV app also appears to output proper surround.

What doesn’t work:
- Disney+ has no rear speaker audio (front speakers work).
- Steam Link only uses front left/right speakers.
- Moonlight has incorrect channel mapping: sounds that should come from the rear speakers play through the front speakers.

I’ve verified that the speakers themselves work because Netflix and YouTube can drive all channels correctly.

I’m wondering if this is:
- A limitation of the Sony TV’s optical passthrough.
- Dolby Digital vs Dolby Digital Plus compatibility.
- Multichannel PCM not being passed over optical.
- An Android TV / Xiaomi TV Stick audio format issue.

The Samsung receiver has Dolby Pro Logic modes available, but I’m trying to get proper discrete 5.1 where possible.

I also tried an HDMI audio extractor with a 5.1CH switch (a friend suggested it), but it made no difference.

Has anyone used a similar setup and run into the same issue? Any settings on the Xiaomi stick, Sony TV, Steam Link, or Moonlight that I should check?
Also, what would be the best way to determine whether the receiver is getting Dolby Digital, DTS, Dolby Digital Plus, or PCM from each app?

Upgrading the receiver isn't currently an option. The Samsung HT-BD1255 was a gift, and I'm looking for solutions that work with this existing setup. If a converter exists that can take PCM 5.1, Dolby Digital Plus, or Atmos and output standard Dolby Digital 5.1 over optical, I'd be interested in hearing about it.

Thanks in advance.
