AWD to RWD Drivetrain Swap

I currently have a 2003 330xi with a good engine and transmission, but the car is being eaten by rust. I’m looking for a clean body to swap my drivetrain into, and I think I’ve found one but it’s a 325ci. Is it possible to put my drivetrain into a rwd coupe, and if so what would need to be modified to make the swap possible?

Edit: To give some more info the donor car I found is an auto, and I have a 6 speed manual. I don’t plan on keeping the awd system so I’m also looking for info on what needs to be done to an engine and transmission that came out of an awd chassis and convert it to rwd. Also if this is a stupid or unreasonable idea just let me know.

3L vr6

Could you take a 2.8L 24v vr6 from a mk4 gti and bore it out to say 3L or even 3.2L or would the cylinder walls be too thin? If it’s possible what kind of power could you make safely?

Mk4 6speed Vr6 Slave Cylinder

I have a 2004 Vr6 gti with (I think) the O2M transmission and a few months ago I started getting brake warning lights and beeping randomly then one day my clutch slams to the floor with no pressure. There was brake/hydraulic fluid under the bell housing transmission area which leads me to believe the slave cylinder failed. When researching how to replace it most of the slave cylinders are right below the shifter linkages but there is nothing there on my transmission. I’ve seen some with the slave cylinder and release bearing one part and you need to drop the trans to replace it. Is this the case? How should I go about replacing it and what else may need replaced? The car has been sitting since fall ish because I’ve been busy with school and had no where to work on it in the winter. (I know the picture of the shifter linkage area is terrible but it’s the best I could get without taking anything apart)
