I also need the hardware as well
It all fell off and I’m using zip ties at the moment :,)
I’ve been in recovery for 18 months (god bless)
and recently finally got diagnosed with ADHD.
I tried straterra for 3 months, felt nothing except weird feeling in my head.
After testing, my doctor put me on concerta ER 18mg. He also knows I’m in recovery. I was so nervous to take it but I don’t even notice it at all.
But! I’ve lost my phone twice at work this week and I seem to be forgetting words - like it takes me a few seconds to get out what I’m trying to say. I’m always saying “what’s it called…”
My next appointment is in a few days, hoping to up my dose but also hoping it’s more effective?
Anyone have luck on the next dose up?
It feels surreal to say I have 17 months. It had absolutely flown by. And I haven’t been triggered really at all since I’ve been sober. I’m a poly substance addict but I found a home at A.A. and attend religiously. I went to treatment, did outpatient, and I have been living in a sober living ever since.
But my mom is an alcoholic. I spend a lot of time with her. She’s makes me laugh, I help do chores, she cooks dinner, we hang out, and then I go to work and back to my house. She was a huge support for me when I went to rehab. She even attended my 1 year celebration.
And I know I have no control over people places and things, but lately her health has not been great, and I know she has lost the choice in her drinking. She’s been drinking for 30 years.
But I guess I know I can’t control this but I’m not at the place in my recovery where I know how to approach her. We don’t discuss her drinking but I’d like her to know that there is a solution and I would be there for her if she chose to get help.
Idk, I’m just sad. She has a partner who is at his wits ends. She has been drinking this whole time but lately it’s just gotten worse and she has been drinking to the point of falling down and injuring herself and being cruel to her partner
She has an autoimmune disorder and suffers from inflammation I’m sure a lot has to do with her drinking but I know she has so much life left to live, if she will only be brave enough to try something new. She knows it worked for me. But I had to hit a nuclear level of low’s before *I* got it, and I so don’t want that for her.
It’s just scary because it made me realize how much I NEED my sober living and A.A.
I’ll call my sponsor later on.
Warning to all those creeping on 10,000 miles. It will happen to you, too.
I had to push it for a mile.
I should’ve known, I saw someone else on Reddit say it happened to them when they hit 10,000 miles.
But I’m very busy and this is my daily driver. No excuse though.
There were signs though. Such as while riding and holding down the throttle, the bike would suddenly slow as if I let up on the throttle. This happened 3 times over the course of a month, and it happened about 15 minutes before it finally went kaput.
What actually happened: bike lost power, I cut it back on, gave it gas, nothing happened and I smelt burning rubber. I killed it and pushed it the rest of the way.
So, I’ve ordered the part and hope to have her back up real soon. 🙂🙂
