I'm trying to find a wedding band that really complement my solitaire engagement ring. I like the classic look but open to suggestions for anything that pairs nicely. I love to hear what's worked for you.

ok so this might be a dumb question but me and my bf got engaged last month and we have no idea who pays for the wedding bands. he got me the engagement ring obviously but nobody ever explains what happens after that. like do i buy his band, does he buy mine, do we just go halfsies on both, i genuinely dont know.
asked my sister and she just said “depends on the couple” which was not helpful at all lol. so im asking here instead. how did you guys figure this out with your partner. did one of you just pay for everything or did you split it down the middle. trying to get an idea before we go shopping so we’re not just winging it at the store
