I love looking at Max's bedroom in A Goofy Movie to learn more about his personality and use it in my fics - that 14 y/o kid was too obsessed with Powerline, I still can't believe Goofy didn't know him! It shows you how detached father and son were, living in the same house but appearently never talking.

Anyway, I stumbled upon these drawings Max did, I think one of them is Powerline but the other looks like a girl - do you think it's one of Powerline's backup dancers?

Bradley is in a comma in the hospital, and Max finally reads the letter Bradley had written for him chapters ago (since chapter 19)

He glanced at the unconscious Bradley for a second before his fingers hesitantly tore at the envelope and pulled out a thick, folded sheet of paper, the kind found in sketchbooks.

He slowly unfolded it and stared tearfully at the neat handwriting in blue ink.

This fic is the third part of my Mickey and Friends series, Huey, Dewey, Louie are 6 years old living with their parents (the original canon of their story), a series of events will happen until they end up living with Scrooge McDuck. They have an unhealthy relationship with their "cousin" Max filled with mischief and jealousy and heartache, but when the chips are down all four kids are there for each other.

It includes arcs for Donald and Della, who will end up leaving her children in the care of her twin.

This fic focuses on different original Disney characters along with the triplets and Max.

I find it heartbreaking that Max genuinely believes that he screwed up the qualifying rounds on his own - I don't think he ever knew that Bradley's cheating affected his performance.

"You don't want me on the team anyway I lost at my best event."

"We're starting in last place because of me!"

On the other hand, I do think that he needed this humbling defeat because his ego was so big. Later you can tell that he's far more modest without the overconfident smirks at Bradley or the bragging about himself that he did a lot in the beginning of the movie. He was a better team leader for it.

(Now PJ's terrified expression here is a meta post of its own, and I just love how Bobby was Max's rock here, how he got him out of his mopey state and brought back the fire of competition in him.)

This is a friendship fic between Max who is struggling with poverty, PJ who is struggling with an overbearing father, and Bradley who is struggling with loneliness.

I have finally completed this fic :) The plot is inspired by Sophie Kinsella's novel "Remember Me?"

Summary: On the final day of school, Max falls down the bleachers of the school football field and loses consciousness. He wakes up four years later and discovers that he's in college, he's popular, he's the best skateboarder on campus, and he's a chick/dude magnet. How radical is that! What could possibly go wrong in the perfect future? Especially a future that includes a hottie with the clearest blue eyes skateboarding on a massive ramp in the college skate park.
