How to get better at Merlin

Hi guys! I’ve only got into this game very recently but it’s charm has certainly left an impact on me. I’ve been playing it every week with my friends.
Since I had so much fun that playing it I thought I’d try Merlin, the only character on the roster that I haven’t touched.
This wizard is harddddd! Could someone give me some proper advice on how to play him? I’m looking for something beyond just mastering which button combinations to press. I’d like to know things about how to properly manage runes of potency, ideal builds, power vs special etc.
Any feedback is appreciated!

Anti-sag bracket and GPU fan touch

Concerned first time builder here.
My gpu anti sag bracket and my middle gpu fan touch, and although I’ve managed to just adjust it so that they’re no longer touching, the anti sag bracket sits directly under the fan.
Is that an issue?

For context: Asrock B850 mobo and rx9070xt

Compatibility check for pc build (and any monitor recommendations)

Hi all!

I'm pretty nervous for my first PC build. I just want to make sure that all the parts are compatible and function well.

With 1440p and occasionally 4k gaming in mind, are there any monitors that you would recommend?

PC build for $2500 - $2800 CAD ($1800 - $2100 USD), graduate program done!

I completed my graduate program in Canada and wanted to celebrate by spending on a good gaming pc. Since I put it off for so long I've missed out on a lot, but the good news is that now that I'm done school I've got the time and energy to devote to this.

My budget is $3000 CAD, however I will need to get a lot of peripherals (monitor, keyboard, mouse) so the actual amount spent on hardware will be lower (perhaps around $2500-$2800)

I will be primarily using it for gaming, though it will also function as a great research or recreational tool. Either way I expect to either have a lot of chrome tabs open or be using a lot of apps simultaneously.

Games that I want to play are primarily Baldurs Gate 3, Monster Hunter Wilds, Elden Ring, Minecraft (w/ mods), and Genshin.

I'm fine with standard Windows 11 Home OS.

I want to replace my current monitor (can only go to 1080p), and I will need a keyboard and mouse. For the monitor I would prefer something with at least 1440p resolution or more, but I don't think an OLED monitor is worth it if it means sacrificing performance (I don't know enough about this specific topic to be a judge on it).

I am not near a microcenter. I will be purchasing components from Canada

Is it worth it to include some of these newegg deals? (not necessary but I would like to know the general sentiment about whether these are good deals or not)
