I think Death of Robin Hood looks pretty cool, and I’m surprised so many people are writing it off as something trying to villainize Robin Hood for stealing from the rich

I’ve seen a lot of criticisms about this upcoming movie, mainly by people saying it’s bad to portray Robin Hood as evil for stealing. I really don’t think that’s what it’s going to be. Based on the directors other work (especially Pig) I think it’s going to subvert a lot of expectations. Even from the trailer, it’s clear that the world still needs a Robin Hood. He’s guilty for his past of crime and killing, but I think he’s going to realize that he was much more heroic than he gave himself credit for

Analyzing Mr. Harley and Mr. Davidson. These two are the only ones in the biker horde aside from the History Man that seem to care for Furiosa, and there’s some details as to how they might’ve helped her

Out of all the characters people miss the message of, Tyler Durden is the most interesting to me because I can kind of see how people would be fooled by him, at least initially

Fight Club is interesting to me, because unlike Patrick Bateman whose a bastard right from the get go, I think Tyler Durden does have kind of an allure to him that the narrator would intrigued by. On the surface, he seems kinda cool despite being a dick. But the more you get to know him, the more you realize he’s a hypocritical loser

Like of all the “literally me” characters, Tyler Durden is the only one I can understand people actually being tricked by

Analyzing Mr. Norton. Did another video on Dementus’s henchmen, this time covering the origins on Elsa Pataky’s character and how she relates to early versions of Dementus

Honestly Being John Malkovich has disturbed me more than any movie in a while, and it’s not just the ending

One of the most well made movies I’ve ever seen, it’s also pretty damn gross. A lot of people talk about the ending being the darkest part, but the whole point throughout everything that happens to John Malkovich is really disturbing, especially that it’s just assault the whole time. Insanely well made movie, never want to watch it again

Always seems to happen when a big budget movie is trying to be the next big thing, and it doesn’t work out for one reason or another

Apparently the test screenings went over very poorly and had a lot of stuff cut. I actually really enjoyed this movie, but I can definitely see why people would want it changed, and I’d be interested in knowing what scenes are different
