One solid, tight, caked out, sticky, well structured, well developed nug. Great bag appeal has an og/wedding cake smell to it when you crack the bud it smells sweeter i like it. Super well developed nug, just thick and complete very good stem to bud ratio. Got good cake and shine, nice stick too. Will say, the frosted fruit cake they did had everything going for it too but it smoked super weak. So lets see what this has in store. Looks great and smells good, look forward to ripping this will update by tmrw morning.

Smoked this last night and I enjoyed it. Busts out good, rolls super easy. Great taste on this but also you can feel the kick too similar to previous SB drops from pre 2024. Grown real well, plant seems to have thrived at least this nug that i got seemed happy. Got me baked solid, like old school SB drops. Has that kick to it that so many lp's are missing. I rag on these guys for the last year or so since the drops are all flavour focused without the kick. This drop they've finally found something that hits both - good work! Burned clean didn't go out on me and stayed lit nicely. I ran inside for a minute to take call came back outside prob cpl mins and it was still burning with a nice oil ring to boot. Got me baked solid thc listed seems accurate; it hits as it should.

Glad to say SB finally bringing some heat with this drop. I noticed SB dropped the price on this one though so someone there must be listening. I paid $33.99+tax for this from The Local Leaf in MR. It's a rebuy for me but I hope it comes in larger formats as the 8ths are just too pricey to keep purchasing. At the end of the day, I just want the best possible chronic available for purchase and it's nice to see another option on the market.

Quick note: shoulda just went with super boof cherry instead of super buff. Personal opinion but don't like the cross marketing and thinking about it i don't want my chronic anywhere near sb lol.. I'm guessing cause its caked out shiny and its a good play on words but personally i feel the boof woulda been better. Buff prob sell more though i guess that's the point.

Off the top: No terps which is alright but they also took away the harvest date on this drop. Not sure what happened they had the harvest date on the blueberry sugar. Top terps listed Myrcene, Caryophyllene, Pinene

Looks wise it was very nice, nice colour on it with the green hues and and purple with the overlapping orange hairs. Lots of cake and shine, solid nugs but i feel this strain has more leaf than others you can see when its busted up in the top left corner all the stuff that came off before put into busted. Busted decently but woulda busted better had i kept some of that leaf in there in terms of amount woulda been phatter doobs. Got solid stick to it and rolls super easy. Really nice dry hoot taste def get a tropical/cherry taste to it.

On the smoke end, you can feel the smoke doing it's thing. Get some decent rips outta the doob but the taste is more prominent for me when it's not lit. Still tastes good but not as strong on the cherry side. Burned clean throughout didn't go out on me or anything. Got me baked but didn't get me as baked as the blueberry sugar and that had the same THC % listed approx. No issues on the smoke front for me still have a cpl doobs left though but nothing to complain about.

Overall, it's a nice smoke but I prefer the blueberry sugar since it was stronger for me. I wouldn't rebuy but not because anything wrong with it just not in my profile - i'd grip the blueberry sugar or mku jealousy over this. Sorry for the delay in getting this out, got busy. Gripped this for $29.99+tax from BCCS.

New packaging and potentially a name change to Amani? Not sure, but i like the size of the new 14g bags. The buds stick together better stay fresh as long as the post harvest done correct should be better. I do miss the red colour on the old bags though this one is too corporate for me... the circle symbol with the stuff in it looks familiar can't put my finger on it.. Engineering high grade is nice I really like it. Although for me would be more genetic related if they were doing more on the genetic side. I get the use of engineering they want people to know they pay attention to everything and are well planned. Kinda flies over the head though i mean cultivating high grade is more streamline to the everyman/woman sorta thing and sounds better but i like the engineering not sure if it'll hit for everyone.

Looks similar to may/june harvest/pkg batch - that one was trimmed down hella i believe too same with this one. Buds aren't showing their usual characteristics not as full lotsa empty space within the structure. Not as girthy and super trimmed down like they prob lost some bud trimming it down this much for sure wonder whatsup.

Anyway, nice smell as per usual. Super caked out shiny, sticky nugs. Tighter than the last batch. Lots to like but also some questions too but yeah looks good still. Busts out good tighter nugs this time arnd and rolls super easy.

Need more time with it to see what's going on will update in the next cpl days maybe sooner depending on schedule. Shorter curing time which i've been saying for a minute now - let's see how it translates.

New harvest and package date. Surprised with the nug selection. Just to prove my point, Amani my go to for the last two years but even they have bags that make me go blahhh. Just to make a point, i don't hold any of these LPs higher than the others - i treat them all consistently.

Off the top: smallest buds i've ever got in an Amani 14g purchase ever. Bag appeal wasn't there with this one due to that. on the flip side, even though it has almost the same stats but less terps than last time i feel this one tastes better. The last one had some doobs that tasted strong almost oily. This one so far hasn't had that. Just gripped it since the bccs I was at didn't have any gastro left.

Tight but smaller, compact buds. Good cake but not shining like it usually does. still has stick to it 7/10 rolls easy and busts good no issues.

Smokes good, tastes better than the last batch and smokes super clean. Has heavy smoke you can feel it going in and doing it's thing. The high this time i prefer it's not as head heavy as last time (has to do with the oily taste in the last one if u know what I'm saying). Definitely got me baked still has a sedative high to it. It's not in my rotation just gripped it like i mentioned above but i would rebuy this.

Super shocked with the small size of nugs never got a Turbulence bag this small. I legit received a smalls turbulence bag that was all the same .5 size nugs before. Not as small as the forbidden forest drop i tried last week but no excuses. Still smoked good so all was not lost just expected more from Amani at this point. Just my observation still smoked good but left something on the table I know I've gotten much nicer bags. I included a picture of one of the best turbulence bags i got it was a qtr zip this batch smoked unreal. Paid $95+tax from BCCS.

For the listeners, got another one you might not be familiar with. It's nice to listen to all sorts of music helps the brain ya know. Kid's another musical genius, extremely talented.

People have been complimenting this brand even calling it the next big thing - so naturally, I had to check it out for myself to see whaddup. Checked out the website since was trying to learn more and they don't have any cultivars or anything listed. TBH seems like they just got into the flower business. They advertise more cannabis services than actual product on their website. I also checked Meridian 125W to see what i could learn but it looks to be under construction. Only smoked one other thing by Meridian that was Gasolina sold by 1964. This Fruit Loops and Fuel is Grown outta Powell River, BC always love to post BC brands hopefully bring them some money.

Off the top: Really like the name forbidden forest and i like the logo too with the heart and shield and FF's its asymmetric. I know artsy people like it off-centre but i like this. They need to put the Harvest Date down if they're going to be contending for the next big thing. Grown by Meridian 125W which has a solid following online. Also heard a lot of people complimenting them even at different dispos. They must be doing something right which is good. Not sure if they in charge of packaging too but my bag was almost half nugs <0.5g. I would normally be bitching about this way more and it would be uptop here but i'm trying to be nice since people seem to take offense easily. F it, its not acceptable honestly if i didn't get this bag on sale i'd be hella disappointed. I still was, definitely not next big thing type of bag appeal. Included pics for reference.

Looks wise it's very appealing (other than the brutally small nugs for a halfzip doesn't even say smalls on the bag had to quadruple check). Not gonna talk about the size for now probably come back around to it later. Mostly tight nugs, super super caked out with a nice stick to them as well. Dried perfectly imo and they nailed the post harvest and packaging. Smells really really good as well, definitely smell the Frosted Fruit Cake and Wedding Cake very sweet and pungent - i like it. Smells similar to Royal Harvest FFC also similar looks a bit too. Only had that in the smalls and they are comparable to these smalls never tried any big nugs of that. Similar smell as that but stronger, Forbidden forest is more pungent. Busts out super good and rolls incredibly easy.

Smoke wise it was not a consistent smoke for me. Probably since half the buds are smalls i tried to make even doobs from bigger and smaller nugs to get a more consistent smoke but it didn't work to well. People gonna come to the defense but whatever i'm standing on this and i'll debate just lmk. I really enjoyed the good doobz a lot, i liked it better than Royal Harvest FCC. The unfortunate part is not all my doobs were consistent. Been smoking this for last 1.5days now so got a good amount of time with it prob close to qtr zip left only rn. The taste is great but then on those inconsistent doobs it legit gets bitter and tastes like nute leftover of chalky/charcoaly. It's not a nice aftertaste and the doobs burn noticably worse. I've included pics of the good doobs and inconsistent ones for reference. The doobs that were good were super tasty i definitely see the name you get the FFC taste originally and then a fuel type of taste. The inconsistent doobs you'd get half strength FFC taste and then a bitter aftertaste. It got me baked no issues and hits harder than a 25% for me.

I really enjoyed it wish it smoked consistent for me still have half the bag left. Undecided if it's a rebuy at this point, if the nugs were better and smoked consistently it would 100% be a rebuy. These guys a part of the bccannabisalliance so i'll prob get some concerted pushback like usual whenever i don't fawn over whatever company it is. Anyways, hope the consumers enjoy the pictures.

One of the best things about the legal industry is meeting the good people that work behind the counters. I spent years over a decade in customer service and i always judge the service - sorry not sorry. I gripped this bag from Craft Greenery off Kingsway. I called the store since only three stores have this drop listed on hibuddy. The dude that answered, P, super down to earth and gave me wicked service. The two behind the counter were solid too, all around great service i would shop there again. Paid $89.99+tax for the half zip.. it was listed for $110 at the other stores. I would not pay $110 for this specific bag if i had to redo it all again. Maybe they got nicer nugs over there.

Anyways, originally the bag was too damp for me. I purchased this prob 11days ago now smoked it originally and then haven't smoked any. Had it in a glass jar and just been burping it every day the first few days then every second day. It's dried out now but just a disclaimer any time the bud isn't dried properly at the time of harvest you will lose some of it's characteristics when you start manipulating it after. In this case, its lost some of the shine of course and isn't as sticky. Also suffers in the taste and nose area a bit too but still has nose and still has shine and cake on it.

Smoked wayyy better than previous, didn't burn as long but hit harder. Could actually pull the taste out properly taste like gary satan but stronger with a sweeter aftertaste - just like it smells for me. You can taste the kills now. Got me baked no issues. Bake lasted a decent amount of time i really want to try a proper batch of this i think I'd really like it. Like i said before, it had everything going for it but was just too damp. Busts out much better and rolled phatter doobs now check pics.

I'll rebuy this when a new batch becomes available and I'll probably wait to see if someone's posted it first to make sure its dry. Enjoy the pictures!

Haven't smoked any Valhalla since the pink zkittles i tried few months ago. Gripped this to see if it would hit any nostalgia vibes for me. Always smoke blueberry type strains closer to Christmas time it's like tradition. I know we're still 4months out but had to check it out anyway.

Off the top: No terps % listed, sucks I feel they should just cause they got the harvest date on their too which is wicked. They listed the top terps tho which are: Myrcene, Caryophyllene, and Pinene.

Looks wise i got two nugs, one was phat like usual with Valhalla's Flwr. Fat girthy nugs super caked out and very sticky. Bag is still very fresh doesn't need the moisture packs. It still smells fresh for sure doesn't need the packs. Dried well though snaps good and busts out good still for being so fresh. Check pics for reference rolls solid too doesn't squish down but gets sticky and easy to roll. The smell is mix of grape/blueberry, pinene and that fresh smell. Fruity, piney, clean smell.

Smoke wise i enjoyed it. Smoked well got better half way through and burned slower half way through as the resin starts to build. I've tried a few things from this brand now and they've all been decent. Smoke similar, they got their grow style down its good and provides consistent product for their customers. I like how they seem to hold strains longer than SB for example. Still looking for a knockout from them but all the offerings i've tried have been consistent and reliable from my experience. Had me coughing a bit but nothing crazy, got a solid stone actually was baked for a while. Not super blueberry classic tasting but the taste is still there so no nostalgia for me. Overall it was good smoke and got me baked solid, no issues. Hits solid def gets me baked like a 30%.

Paid $29.99 from Local Burnaby and I'd rebuy this it's not bad got me baked good. Price is decent too wouldn't spend more than 30bucks on the 8th. Got me baked solid for the price actually but just not my profile so wouldn't pay more than the 30.

Seen this posted on the subs last week or so and haven't tried a good hindu since legacy days. Grown in Kelowna BC or the company is based outta there - first time trying their product.

Off the top: no terps listed but its not premium price product so I'm okay with that. Still would like to see it but yeah. One of the fattest 8ths i think I've purchased on legal side if not the fattest bag. Well done on that always a happy feeling I'm sure people can relate.

Smoked tons of hindu for a moment in time prob like 4-5 years. It was everywhere in the valley smoked some death hindu outta mish that was probably the stand out batch for me. This GasPack version looks decent, nothing wrong with it. Smell is like 5-6/10 for me has that hindu kush smell for sure and smells clean too not pungent though. Smaller nugs but super tight with good cake on em. Stick level only 5/10 on this bag but it's priced well so not bad for the $25.99+tax tag. When you separate the nug stick goes 6/10 had one stickier nug tho that was like 7/10 so I'll say 6.5/10 when breaking it up. Busts out decent check out the pics can't really complain on the bust. It does rolls pretty easy got some stick to it but it does roll smaller , it kinda squishes together so doob gets compressed unless you rollin real soft. Check pics for reference to what i mean.. the bust was good but the doobs were smaller than anticipated.

Smoke wise, classic hindu kush taste with the earthiness. Smoked clean check the burn pics for reference. Didn't cough much which was nice sure my lungs appreciated that. Got me baked but didn't hit like a 33% thc for me. Hit more of a chill 25% but it's gonna hit stronger/weaker for some that's how it goes. The elements joint fell right before was gonna take a pic but ash landed on the lighter. Kept the pic ill stand by it burned clean.

Don't think I'd rebuy this since not really my profile in terms of strength. However, it smoked clean and I'll give the brand another shot when something comes around. Not bad for the price by any means either just not very potent for me. It's the classis hindu k legacy strain from like 15years ago i feel just not as strong or sticky for me. Packs of that were everywhere at that time: hk, pk or green crack.

Been under the weather a bit so smoking less but I seen this drop a few days ago and no one's posted so thought I'd give it a shot. First things first, I'm not sure if this is nightcap or candy paint or what they want us to think it is? It says night cap at top of container then says candy paint at the bottom. I gripped an 8th of night cap as well and that has different stats so i'm thinking this is a Candy Paint pr? Thing is doesn't taste like the candy paint i tried when they first dropped those 8ths prob a year ago not even. Think i reviewed it or posted pics but yeah that tasted alright this tastes much better. Grown by FAAFO Pkg'd by Pistol and Paris.

Anyway to the doobie... quite expensive and i just bought it cause i wanted to see what the fuss was about. $16.99 from queens cannabis out in langley - solid people that helped me out tonight appreciate it. Smokes really good I'm surprised I actually like it. Taste is really good and got me nicely baked only smoked half the doob so far. Rolled real well i like the filter and screen too. I prefer smoking smaller doobs than 1g prob .7 max i just smoke more frequently that's why only hit half too fat for me haha. Especially if it's death you shouldn't need more than .5 to get solid baked if you doming but stuff rarely busts out good so you have to add more.

Forgot to put the doob on the digi before i lit it came back inside once i realized so we won't have a true weight on this one but I'll prob grip another doob i enjoyed it. Will put that one on the digi so we know whaddup. If I'm spending this much on a pre roll i wanna know the harvest date too! Seen this posted on the subs last week or so and haven't tried a good hindu since legacy days. Grown in Kelowna BC or the company is based outta there - first time trying their product.

Off the top: no terps listed but its not premium price product so I'm okay with that. Still would like to see it but yeah. One of the fattest 8ths i think I've purchased on legal side if not the fattest bag. Well done on that always a happy feeling I'm sure people can relate.

Smoked tons of hindu for a moment in time prob like 4-5 years. It was everywhere in the valley smoked some death hindu outta mish that was probably the stand out batch for me. This GasPack version looks decent, nothing wrong with it. Smell is like 5-6/10 for me has that hindu kush smell for sure and smells clean too not pungent though. Smaller nugs but super tight with good cake on em. Stick level only 5/10 on this bag but it's priced well so not bad for the $25.99+tax tag. When you separate the nug stick goes 6/10 had one stickier nug tho that was like 7/10 so I'll say 6.5/10 when breaking it up. Busts out decent check out the pics can't really complain on the bust. It does rolls pretty easy got some stick to it but it does roll smaller , it kinda squishes together so doob gets compressed unless you rollin real soft. Check pics for reference to what i mean.. the bust was good but the doobs were smaller than anticipated.

Smoke wise, classic hindu kush taste with the earthiness. Smoked clean check the burn pics for reference. Didn't cough much which was nice sure my lungs appreciated that. Got me baked but didn't hit like a 33% thc for me. Hit more of a chill 25% but it's gonna hit stronger/weaker for some that's how it goes. The elements joint fell right before was gonna take a pic but ash landed on the lighter. Kept the pic ill stand by it burned clean.

Don't think I'd rebuy this since not really my profile in terms of strength. However, it smoked clean and I'll give the brand another shot when something comes around. Not bad for the price by any means either just not very potent for me. It's the classis hindu k legacy strain from like 15years ago i feel just not as strong or sticky for me. Packs of that were everywhere at that time: hk, pk or green crack.

For the listeners... something new.. may not have heard of this fella but he's a musical genius imo. Extremely talented, quite motivating. One man band. Hope you can enjoy!

Smoked the pre-roll of this last night and it was solid - I really enjoyed it and am gonna grip it again soon. Some things to get out the way off the top since i've received messages re: supporting Pistol and Paris and all that they're racist. I'm a POC - i do not support racism of any kind in any shape or form. I've been called derogatory racist names on this app and honestly there may have been some overlap with that and the whole bccs closing down for a few weeks since the mods got banned and abandoned that place. I aint* hashing this out for sympathy but to let you know that i believe the person who said those things re: said company and i believe they did the right thing to bring it to peoples' attention. That being said, the grower on this is listed as FAAFO. Seems to be packaged by Pistol and Paris. People need to make a living if they just packaging this that doesn't bother me wouldn't repurchase it if they grew it though. Something for companies to think about when they associate with clients who have . To each their own i'm not gonna tell you how to live but that's my perspective. Rant done.

On to the chronic.....the bad.

It's fkn expensive like i break my own principles spending money on this which makes me not like the company hahahahha jokes kinda sorta maybe not i'm undecided. There's no harvest date?! Guys, i paid $53.99+tax for this and there's no harvest date?! For those of you who don't like to do math i'll do it for you. That's $15 more than ANY 8th from ANY other LP out. So whoever your fave lp or drop is now think minimum $15 more expensive. More maths, i can buy two 8th's of this for $108+tax or a half zip of gastro pop for $95+tax from bccs currently. Two 8ths is 10-12 doobs (this stuff busts nice tho but we talking abt the bad so forget that rn) Half zip is 20-24doobs... the high is bit diff on both obviously but both heavy hitters with a strong high gastro more hybrid obvs but do you get what i'm saying? It's tooooo expensive don't care of hayzeus grew it himself.

The good.....

Shits noooiiice. Right up my alley they killed it with the post harvest. Simply Bare levels of packaging and cure on this, Super super tight dense nugs that bust out phenomenal for being so sticky. Stick to touch prob like 6.5-7/10 but when you crack nug stick to touch 8/10. Busts out super good for being so sticky check pics for reference. Got 3 solid doobs outta the grinder. Rolls very easy and doesn't squish down so you get nice consistently rolled doobs. I thoroughly enojyed the taste it's kinda got a runtz flavour which i love someone else mentioned this as well. The pre-roll tastier since the doob is so fat but honestly you don't need such a fatty to get baked. LP's etc obv want u use the bigger papers etc think about it you smoke thru the bag quicker. Same thing swim back in day you cut ur sandwhich bags people can't reclose em go thru it faster. Smoke whatever is in your limit and stay within it for optimal experience. Took lots of pics as it needs to be scrutinized heavy since comes with the hefty price tag. comes with the territory. Took a pic of each nug for ya.

Smoked clean hits heavy i really enjoyed the smoke and will prob grip again. Being this highly priced, it should smell more, be stickier, taste better, get me more stoned. Get what i'm saying? This the problem with pricing shit so absurdly high. Still have half the jar left but yeah it's solid. Not worth the price but yeah i'm regripping it... make it make sense..sorry I cant.. life sometimes doesn't. lol

Brief post not smoking heavy right now but gripped this new harvest/package date. I was looking for a new gastro drop since last batch is getting stale early seems like some heat issues. Dark bud not as sticky only got a cpl bags like that usually feel the bag before i grab you can kinda tell from the squish. Anyway, this batch is back to regular tight nugs and fresh taste. Hits solid finally a fresh batch. Hope you enjoy the pics! They been trimming it right down too makes me think something else may be going on they trying to nip it in the bud hopefully all is well. Looks really nice with a nice nose. Exactly what you'd expect gary satan x gas face to smell like. Has the gary satan nose but creamier or sweeter. Snap dry but still holding too much moisture for me. You can tell from the pic with it busted and roll pics. Smokes good still doesn't go out or anything, burns super slow cause higher moisture level crazy oil rings but due to the moisture too. Gonna update this later tonight or tomorrow when i smoke more only had these three doobz so far. Paid $49.99+tax from BCCS. got me baked though no issues other than moisture level higher than my liking.

Tried taking a close up picture with s20ultra... let me know what you guys think. I think the s8 takes better pictures but the s20 supposed to be more detailed i dno. Small sample size but i may just take some more pics of random bag and post on here to see what you guys think.

Haven't smoked any of this since i first opened it. Holding too much moisture actually fkd my lungs up a bit i shoulda known better shoulda dried it out before i blazed. This isn't something for most to worry about but if your lungs are a bit compromised make sure leave this out for a bit before smoking. Anyway, will update when i get around to smoking this if i do. last two drops from 67 sins been too moist they needa reel that in.

Stuff was decent. Tried it since numbers were high wasn't really looking forward to it or nothing. It's similar to the lime drizzle has some of that taste but still different. It's ok got me baked look like i was gonna enjoy it more than i did. Burned darker for SB Drops, prob the darkest burning sb dropped i've ever had. Didn't burn bad stayed lit and everything just some of the doobs burned darker. Papaya cross same as lime drizzle comes through.

They got the post harvest routine down good and packaging part down great. Nice sealed jar and the bud was perfectly dry i thought i was gonna like this a lot more when rolling and took a dry hoot really liked the taste. Didn't come through as much on the smoke though got me baked. Will update this post tonight or tomorrow.

Another unique taste but it's kinda a moot point of it's not getting me baked as previous cultivars. As the premium rubicon brand they should be focusing more on potency. Not a rebuy for me at this point but i still have cp doobs left will prob blast em tonight and see how i feel. Paid $37.99+tax from BCCS

Finished the jar earlier today and it wasn't bad per se. Similar profile to the lime drizzle. The papaya strain comes through i've read someone say it has a cheesy kinda taste and yeah i can see that. Got me baked but the lime drizzle got me more baked. Busts out really good, nice cake and shine on the buds. Snap dry they really got the post harvest and packaging down well like i mentioned above. Buds have solid stick to them rolls very easy. Taste is unique but similar to lime drizzle i liked the drizzle taste more.

Decent smoke for me got me baked but nothing really resonated still not a rebuy for me. Uploaded more pics in the comments. Last two doobs burned better than the ones in the post. I can see this selling nothing really wrong with it but as someone who's looking for the hard hitting high more than the taste and decent high it left me wanting more. I'm looking for more from the SB brand overall though. They were top tier for high and now are just focusing on the taste cultivars. Let's bring back some heavy hitters.
