I finally sent out my invitations for my fall wedding. The RSVPs are slowly coming in, but I’m finding people are asking to bring plus ones (for short term boyfriends, people my fiance and I don’t know, etc). We granted plus ones to people who would not know anyone else at the wedding, but I have had a couple people ask. On my RSVP website, I have had a couple people add their plus ones (without asking us), even though the invitation was addressed to them only.

How do I navigate this?

I find the whole “WELCOMING MR & MRS. __________” very much cringe and not something my fiance and I like 😭 I’m wondering what is an alternative of this? Can we just legit… walk into cocktail hour? those who didn’t have a grand entrance to their reception, what did you do?
