Solo travel to Fukuoka
Hi! I’ll be traveling solo to Japan (Fukuoka) for the first time. This isn’t my first trip to Japan though, as I’ve been there twice before with family and friends. I also travel fairly regularly, averaging around 2–3 international trips a year since the pandemic.
I’ve traveled around Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam), East Asia (South Korea, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan), and the US. 😅 all of them I’m either with family or close friends.
Here are my questions:
Would my travel history and previous trips generally help, or should I still expect a lot of questions? I know I might just be paranoid and overthinking this, but I’m wondering if Philippine immigration officers are generally stricter with solo female travelers, even with a travel history like mine. I always fund and book my trips myself.
Is 7 days in Fukuoka enough if it’s my first time?
How much pocket money should I bring if airfare, hotels, and tours are already paid and accounted for? Would 5k php per day be enough? I don’t plan to shop much and if ever I plan to bring my CCs.
Any insights or experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! 😊
