Hey all,

My wife(34F) and I(29M) recently relocated to the area from South Carolina and are struggling to find ways/ opportunities to meet people our age. We've been to a couple of events in the area and checked out the trails at ricketts, as well as the tubbs, but making friends is proving to be kinda difficult.

She's from the area originally and definitely loves being back here. While I do think it's beautiful up here -- I'm finding it much harder to have a sense of place up here, and I think finding some kind of community up here would help that a ton.

Any recommendations would be appreciated!

Hi all!

I was just offered a position with BOA as a fraud department representative and I'm a mix of excited and nervous about it. Everything about the job, benefits and pay wise, seem great. I've never done a call center job before and, though I know the calls will be difficult, I'm willing to try my best with it.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience with the training and what it really looks like? I know my expected dates are somewhere around 11 of training before I'm fully on my normal shifts, but I was wondering if it's all class room or a mix of supervised/simulation calls after an appropriate amount of classroom time.

I was also wondering if anyone has ever had to put in PTO during that time and if it was approved? I know it's mandatory training, but I've gotten two different dates about when I could use PTO and the most recent one cuts into a vacation we had planned. I'm not going to jeopardize the opportunity over. It'd just be something to work around.
