Complained to Chase about DoorDash
Today, while I went to use my monthly DoorDash credit, I was presented with the $20 pickup minimum in my app.
This pissed me off so much that I submitted a complaint to Chase about it (I was really looking forward to getting a donut and coffee from 7-11). I figured that they should know when one of their card benefits becomes less valuable.
Anyways, a rep actually responded to my message within the day. Said they would “pass it along” to their marketing and partner relations team.
This is my first time posting on this subreddit and I see the recent posts about this DoorDash change. May I suggest that if you are upset about this, that you also submit a complaint to Chase about it. If enough people complain, maybe the Chase overlords will listen and do something about it with DoorDash. Make sure to mention you’re thinking about canceling your card.
Here’s the message I sent them for reference:
I am submitting a complaint about one of your rewards partners. My Chase Sapphire Reserve card includes the $10 monthly credit for DoorDash. Me and my husband (who also has his own Sapphire Reserve card) have enjoyed using this benefit. Recently, DoorDash has imposed a $20 minimum on pickup orders. This makes the credit way less valuable to us, as we are forced to pay more money to use it. I want you to be aware because it devalues your card. I hope you can help reverse this DoorDash minimum for Chase customers. I have already been on the fence about keeping my card due to the annual fee increase, and this persuades me even more to cancel the card.
