Traditional U.S. Thanksgiving recipes...reimagined?

My kids and I are going camping in the Sequoia National Park over Thanksgiving and I'd love to hear ideas on recipes that can be tailored to be cooked over a campfire (or cook stove, if fire ban is in place)while keeping the 'spirit' of traditional dishes that are normally served.

I will save you some time by saying that we WILL be making Stove Top stuffing as indicated on the side of the box; that's non-negotiable, lol.

Sisters, right?

They were found alone in a lumber yard. I'm keeping them, I love them!

Despite the size difference, they must be sisters, right?

Found in the woods, injured and pregnant, poor baby..

My daughter's rescue! Yes we took her to the vet. She is free of heat worm, FIV, leukemia. Did a stool sample and no worms either. Just some malnourishment, flea dermatitis (blood/scabs from scratching) and pregnant. Yes, per vet recommendation, she is getting spayed and vaccinated next week. She's so tiny...

WE LOVE HER AND WE'RE KEEPING HER!

My daughter is having a hard time thinking up a name, so I said Reddit will provide. Something angelic, because this little girl is an absolute sweet angel.

Wish I would've posted sooner....

It started pretty, uh, basic(?), kinda like a mosquito bite but ended up looking like this 3 days into it. We were camping in the Midwest, USA. My daughter thinks it's brown recluse, but google is saying no. Asking the real peeps for guidance here...

FYI: I am allergic to mosquito bites and woodticks do not attach to me, like, ever.
