I decided to create AU fanarts based on the theme: "What if the minor insect characters were berrysonas?" I also rewrote the characters.
Bosley Bookworm/Shadberry Pannacotta: He is now Blueberry's younger adoptive brother who, unfortunately, lost an arm in an accident. Nevertheless, he remains loyal and is often ready to help with matters concerning books. He's also an introvert.
Jadeybug/J.D. Woodbine: She's almost exactly like the original, except she's about the same age as the main girls (but a little older).

To be honest, I'm not a big fan of high-pitched voices, sorry (The same can be said about chipmunks). It's also weird because the mice from Cinderella are the only Disney mice who don't speak in normal pitch or something like that.
P.S. Sorry for using "At the Ball" from the third movie instead of "Work Song" from original movie. because I prefer it.
Honestly, it's a shame she only had a full role in season 4 as a fairy, not as her real self. I'd be interested to see her interact with Strawberry and others again now that she's older. I'd also like to see Cherry Cuddler fully return, as she only appeared in merchandise.
Honestly, I was surprised that this version wasn't lost, as I thought.
Speaking about the quality of the voice-over itself, I'll say that the translation is sometimes so bad that it's actually good. But that's still my childhood. Although I admit that as a child, a couple of years after watching the voice-over, when I later stumbled upon the official Russian dub of STL, I enjoyed watching the dub more and the translation isn't machine-generated and is rough like the voice-over, despite the dubbing actors overacting in some moments.
It feels like the 2009/BBA fandom is starting to turn into a stupid dictatorship. I actually used to pretend to hate Mr. Longface because I was afraid of being judged and accepted by others, but I'm tired of it!
Regarding Melody Moon's video, it's really bad because she's completely toxic towards Mr. Longface. At times, I wanted to strangle her and say, "STUPID! THIS IS A CHARACTER! CALM DOWN!!!"
And those people who seriously wish Mr. Longface death are acting like those "Deviantart young people." This story reminds me of the unprovoked hate for Sir Topham Hatt. Besides, I'm sure if Mr. Longface were in any other show, there wouldn't be any hate. As someone who's a member of fandoms like Robot and Monster, The Mr. Men Show, and Clone High, and as someone who loves psychedelia and the absurd, I don't understand the people who despise him. Mr. Longface isn't perfect, but he's still a good character. Respect opinions! So I decided to throw up some stupid images just to spite haters! So live with it!
I don’t know why I became so attached to him, I think it was out of nostalgia and pity.
For me, the designs that are truly awful are Lemon's and Strawberry's. Blueberry's, actually for me very good. Orange's and Lime's meh, but okay.

I often think about the paradox of Mr. Longface's inability to turn into a butterfly. Is he a mistake of nature and system? This is begging for some stupid fanfic explaining this.
P.s. The second picture is just my opinion of him. Actually I don't really despise Mr. Longface haters. I'm not against the Dark!/Evil! Mr. Longface AU myself. I just feel like the mindless demonization of the character is a bit much!
I found some strange BBA posters where Strawberry Shortcake is a baby (with Cherry Jam). I have a lot of questions. Why aren't there baby versions of the other girls? What was the point of this? The SS 2003 baby versions were justified by an episode in which Apple Dumpin' dreams that she swaps ages with the girls, and they become babies. But why did they do this in BBA and only for posters?
I finally decided to draw my version of teens PPG. Yes, I drew Bubbles with long hair and space buns because she looks cute with that hairstyle.

I like her design in the comics. She stands out from the other Berry Girls (she's basically the only one who wears pants instead of a dress/skirt). But in the web series, she looks... ordinary like other girls.
