Hi all, apologies for another text post. I was permanently banned last night (since restored) following reportings on the image of Zelda catching Link in her princess dress. I dread to think what sort of person reported my account and this post as "shared intimate images of others without their consent" on the animated cartoon of two fiction characters but shockingly in a TRANS light!!

It definitely was very demoralising last night but thanks to Reddit for reviewing and reinstating me!!

Hi all, I shared this sub within the r/nintendo main sub. The comments were mostly negative regarding why gender/sexuality should be coupled with the love of nintendo. Others were borderline transphobic, which indeed did make me feel sad and I submitted and deleted the post itself. To not have to continue reading the comments on "why is there a need for gender specific communities within the Nintendo interest".

I completely understand and in an ideal world we would not need any niche subs like this, but I would love a community which shared both sides of the Transgender experience with gaming/nintendo as a hobby.

I thank all for the positive comments and support, but it was definitely disheartening when starting such a small niche community where posts are not hidden within our community in such large subreddits and we don't need to worry about a small minor side of any large community which does not agree with our identity, again in an ideal world, actions of this would not be required.
