Friends Of Leisure - May 19, 2026

This will be a weekly post where we can all share the fun things we have going on like hobbies, self care, tv watching, music we listen to etc etc.

One of my favorite subs has a weekly post for us to talk about the fun things we have going on in our lives! I wanted to bring it here so I can know what y’all have going on!

As an example you can choose to post like this

MUSIC: I’ve been in an Ella Langley mood. I want to listen to women singers and belt it out with them!

BOOKS: I started Christine by Stephen King this week.

PODCASTS:

HOBBIES:

MOVIES:

SELF-CARE:

Etc etc.

Sorceress Comes To Call by T. Kingfisher is our book this month!

What you need to know:

  1. We have a chat on Reddit where we discuss the book near the end of the month. It’s not very formal. We just talk about our likes and dislikes. Again it is here on REDDIT. You can comment if you want to join.

  2. This is our 6th book. We haven’t been a book club for long so come join and get to know us! If you join and do not participate you will be removed. Breaks are okay. Lurking is not!

  3. Everyone suggests a book each month of any genre of your choosing. Some choose non fiction, some choose romance etc. It gets us all out of our usual picks which is good! The book is randomly selected by way of wheel of names.
