Hello, everyone. How are you all doing?
I wanted to share something that has been really bothering me. I’ve been following Oliver Tree since the very beginning of his career, so everything that has happened recently has been incredibly difficult for me as a fan.
That’s why it feels so strange to see someone here in Brazil presenting himself as an “Oliver Tree lookalike,” gaining views, likes, and attention by using Oliver’s name. What shocked me the most is that just one day after Oliver’s passing, he started creating this kind of content. Now he’s doing sponsored promotions and even raffles while using that image.
As a fan, this doesn’t feel like a tribute to me. Instead, it feels like someone taking advantage of a very painful moment to gain attention. What makes it even stranger is that he has openly said that he doesn’t even know Oliver Tree’s music.
I’m not writing this to encourage hate or attacks toward this person. This is simply the feelings of someone who has followed Oliver since the beginning of his career and has a great deal of love and respect for him.
I have to admit that this has been making me really sad. I even had to block his profile because seeing that content kept upsetting me. I know some people may not understand, but for someone who has followed Oliver’s journey for so many years, watching this happen is genuinely painful.
