Can this please stop popping up every other time I open Photos?

I'm sick of these AI ads. Pixels used to be about "premium software experience," now it's steadily growing sloppier. I know I'm overreacting, but it's getting super annoying. This and the "Try Gemini for Google Home" notification that I get every other day and every time I open the Home app to control my lights are getting on my nerves. I don't want ads on my $1000+ phone please.

What did you call "play dates" as a child? (WA slang)

I'm writing a short story set in WA and I need to double check if the slang I'm using was common in Perth/WA or if it was just a word I used as a kid.

When we'd go to a friend's house, we'd call it a "play over" (I guess like a sleepover without sleep?). Did anyone else use this phrase growing up? If not, what do you think was more common here? I swear we never said "playdate."

Can't seem to dial in new beans [Baratza ESP Pro / Breville Bambino Plus]

Hiya! I got gifted some nice coffee beans today that were roasted at an actual coffee shop (as opposed to the ones I normally buy from the supermarket) and I can't seem to dial them in at all. I started at my normal grind settings and barely a few drops came through so I tried going coarser and no water passed through at all. I've worked all the way up on my grind settings to pretty much as coarse as my grinder will go and still nothing. Literally no water comes out of the portafilter. I've tried lowering the dose as well and nothing seems to work. I feel like I'm going crazy and I've almost burned through all my new beans just trying fruitlessly to dial them in.

Nothing seems to be blocked because water definitely flows without any grinds in the portafilter. I just really don't know what else to try. How low a dose can I go? It's a 54mm portafilter and I've gone down to 16g.

The pucks seem to go really spongey so idk if they're absorbing too much water or something? The beans are called "Blue Note" from Micrology. Neither the website nor the packet seem to have any recommended brewing settings to go off.

Any advice would be appreciated! I'm sort of new to the hobby so I'm sure I'm missing something really obvious.

Injured little bird in Murray St Mall

I was just walking home after work through the Murray St Mall and noticed a small bird that appeared injured just outside of Uniqlo. Seems somebody already set up some traffic cones so that he doesn't get trampled, but I'm worried for him.

Is there some number I can call? I'd take him home myself but I catch public transport and figured that might be even more traumatic for the poor thing.
