LotM tag system for Sci-Fi?

I own excellent RPGs set in a sci-fi setting, such as a huge amount of Traveler material, some Alien and some Coriolis. Recently, at Gen Con '26, I came across (and purchased) Legend in the Mist, with its tag-based system and I have to say I'm enjoying what I'm learning. I also have started thinking about 'porting' the mechanics to other settings, inc. Sci-Fi. Has anyone done this or perhaps considering it?

My most memorable GenCon moments were down to this guy

Had the honor of sitting at the table with Joe O'Brien of the Glass Canon Network, first for a game of Shadowdark (where I played a rather vain Mr. February), and then in a session of Alien as Hicks, who died heroically trying to save Hudson!

Any experience using LitM for one shot funnels/gauntlets?

Anyone have experience with or knowledge of LitM being used as a system to run a gauntlet or funnel for groups of 'level 0' characters? And if so, what might have changed? For example, might each player have three characters but each character only has two theme cards for powers?

Legend in the Mist vs. Daggerheart

Happy to see the ENNIE results and all the recognition for great content. I was a little surprised LitM awards relative to Daggerhearts (mainly because of LitM's mechanics innovations). But, perhaps I am missing something? Who has actually played both and can offer qualified unbiased views on their relative merit?
