So I'm in CT and I just returned to riding after a long layoff. Riding around town I see that most Harley riders have a disdain for protective clothing. That's a personal decision but I don't understand riding around town with a baseball cap, shorts and sneakers on a 750 lb bike that doesn't have agile emergency handling. I guess it must be a HD cultural thing. I've also noticed their unwillingness to wave back at non Harley bikers. I was giving the two fingers down sign as respect to all bikers but now when I spot a Harley I don't bother.

Now that the Mrs trusts my riding ability she wants a more comfortable pillion seat for when she rides with me. Any recommendations? I don't think Corbin makes a stand alone pillion for the Eliminator. Maybe a local upholsterer or something on Amazon that someone bought and liked?

I'd like to add some auxiliary lighting on my SE. Can I lower the top of the fork boot about an inch to mount a bracket without infringing on the fork travel?
