Need Suggestion
Hi Eliminator Riders,
Im planning to buy Paddock Stand to clean the chain and to store bike for winters. But I also found out T-rex center stand.
Now Im confused what is the best choice, I believe on center stand front wheel still be on ground and I believe this is not good. What I heard both tires should be off ground for winter season.
I have attached photos for both. Let me know what's your experience.
Can this part be vinyl wrapped or should I have it painted?
I know it’s plastic but I dunno what the best option for color change would be. I wanna make it a light pink 🎀 … I was thinking of vinyl wrap but I’m not sure if it’ll work. Has anyone changed the color of these pieces? (Circled black plastic pieces in photo)
First bike and help
Today, I bought my first bike. Previos owner had 2000 KMs on it, looks brand new with a Coffman exhaust and today I drove 500 KMs on my first trip from Edmonton to Calgary (100 KMs in rain). I did not get user manual and its $150 USD on Kawasaki's website, I wonder if someone has Kawasaki Eliminator SE ABS pdf manual [North American] and willing to share with me??
I'm more interested in chart where they mentioned regular maintenance interval (cleaning and oil change), type of recommended oil/coolant etc.
Those who have Eliminator for a while, should I change oil after 500 kms? After thr trip I feel like engine sound is too much may be an oil change helps.
I appreciate any help!!
Why Eliminator over Vulcan S or Rebel for a new order?
Edit: title is supposed to say new “rider” not “order”
I posted something similar in the Vulcan S sub, but I’d love to hear opinions from people who chose an Eliminator as their first bike.
I like cruisers and have narrowed my choices down to the Eliminator or Vulcan S (the Rebel 500 is a possibility, but I like the other 2 slightly more). Other than taking the MSF course, I have no riding experience whatsoever.
I'm in SoCal and will almost exclusively ride surface streets (lots of hills in my area) until I build up enough experience to try the freeway. I'm 47 years old. Not trying to break speed records. Just want to cruise and enjoy. I’ll also commute to work a few days a week (all surface streets).
If the Eliminator was your first bike ever, why did you pick it over something like the Vulcan or Rebel?
I’m joining the club.
I only recently found this bike and only weeks later, it’s my first bike!
Just got myself a brand new 2024
Finally purchased my first bike, now I only have to wait 2 more weeks until I acquire my license so I can go pick it up from the dealership.
I am now a proud owner of an Eliminator :)
Bought it yesterday, now waiting on them to deliver it
She’s home!
Did the MSF 3 weeks ago, and couldn’t stop smiling ear to ear the whole time! Bought this baby 3 days ago, just brought her home today! So excited to ride this weekend! Took it for a joy ride already and it was fucking incredible. Her name is Nyx 😈
Anyone have this on theirs bike?
Trying to find examples of how this looks has been tough lol hoping some people here have put this on and have some pics to share.
It’s the Puig Mirage Touring Semifairing
Returning rider and happy owner of 2025 SE
I'm back to riding at 57 yo after an injury and a too-long recovery that nearly killed my spirit and passion for riding. After riding heavyweight bikes it was time for something lighter, modern and fun.
I rode it home today and I'm so very glad I found this bike. Quick, nimble, and so easy to move around the garage. You can really feel the sportsbike origins of that motor, it wants to GO! And it reminds me a lot of the Kawasaki 454 LTD, a standard/cruiser that was popular ~40 years ago, only 50 lbs lighter and better looking.
After the accident my confidence was shot and TBH I never thought I'd ride again. But this bike is just so confidence-inspiring. I've only been 10 miles but I feel like I've added 10+ more years to my motorcycling life.
Enjoy the ride y'all. Have fun. Stay safe.
New Bike Hunt
Hi all, so to be brief:
I am a new (MSF only), late 30s parent. Looking for my first bike, pretty settled on the Eliminator ‘24, and two bikes which I am considering. Both used, ABS, white or orange.
One with 128mi private seller, $6000
The other 1000mi dealer (6700 after fees, listed for 4700. Southwest from RideNow which I am gathering has a rep for high fees. This bike includes a 888 fee for Used-Vehicle-Conditioning (I imagine I can negotiate here)
Any constructive guidance is welcome, especially items to zoom in on with the private unit. What does a typical mechanic once over run?
Thanks in Advance!
New shorty exhaust!
Welp the pipe I had on was to long and kinda burned a whole in my saddle bags lol but this new one I doubt I’ll have that issue anymore 😂
OptiMate 4
So I just bought the 2025 Eliminator 500 SE and had no idea that I’m supposed to charge the battery lol
The bike will be kept at my mother in laws bc she has a garage so I won’t always be there to unplug the charger. Does the OptiMate 4 overcharge or does it keep it at a level where it won’t overcharge the battery?
New seats - wolfline
The new seat almost seems to look like there's less cushion.. but the rear seat does not feel like you're sitting on a rock, at least. I have not taken it out for a ride yet with the new seat, but what I did like from sitting on it was that I felt more "planted"..... I do grip the bike with my legs/core but still feel like i slide around sometimes (maybe that's a skill issue?) ... will update when I do ride tomorrow.
I will say I didn't have too much of an issue with stock seats, but I did feel like i had to move my butt up more for extra cushion after 1+hr of riding. I bought the last main/rear combo on Amazon cause of FOMO.. it was cheapest out of the other listings I found online (150 usd for both) lol
