Update, Probably totaled

2025 eliminator. “Minor” accident that I considered fixing myself but by the time I bought parts to fix my bike I was gonna be at the deductible for insurance anyway so I sent it to a shop for a professional look and the bill is $7500. Probably they marked it up to charge my insurance. Anyway, I have the gap insurance which I thought was a rip off at first but hallelujah. I walked away from the wreck with a couple bruises and I have to pay my deductible. Basically I get to start over at 0 with a new bike. Such a crazy couple days.

I wrecked today

On my way home from work on the ‘25 eliminator. I had it leaned all the way over in a curve, caught the left peg kinda hard and panicked. I half straightened up mid turn saw a tree and jumped. The bike slid into the grass. I landed on a pile of leaves with probably a bruise on my left shin.
I bent the handle bars, only scuffed the tank, bent the shit out of the shift lever, and popped off the left side lights. It runs, shifts and nothing is leaking. My seasons screwed

Does motorcycling ruin lawn mowing?

Since getting my first bike 3 weeks ago, I have noticed that lawn mowing isn’t as interesting as it once was.
I can remember the days when I was carving up corners in the yard and peeling out with treadless baloney skins on my huskee lt4200. Now…. Now I just feel numb. The mower lines mean nothing…. Does anyone else feel the sting of days gone by???

New and improved luggage/ door dash system!

The box is the old one. I have added the OEM rear rack to my eliminator along with a custom, very sturdy, three cup cup holder. Good goes on seat with the straps, cups in holder.
I have motorcycle cup holders coming next week that attach to the rails on my rack but this will do for now (I hope 😅)

New luggage rack!

It was recommended I post here instead of motorcycle gear. It’s an old decorative crate that once held a live laugh love sign. Now it carries door dash and helps fund new gear and consumables for the bike! Huzzah

New rider, first bike!

Her name is Maeve. She’s a left over 2025 that had 2 miles on the odo when I bought her. Now we’re up to 900 and still going strong! I love this bike. That is all. Happy riding!
