My mom told me this story that she assumes we were being sex trafficked. Years ago when me and my sister were small, my mom had taken us to a beach in the Poconos Goulds Boro early in the morning. We were playing in the water when two men had been watching us from afar. They started asking my mom questions like “how old are you” and “you’re very pretty” and “where are you from” “your children are very beautiful” etc. My mom was being vague in answers because she was feeling creeped out. She got me and my sister out of the water and she noticed there were now two more men watching us from afar. All of a sudden, a group of people arrived at the beach. My mom asked if we could sit by them, letting them know what happened. They said yes, and all of the men disappeared. Eventually, my mom decided to leave because the whole thing was very strange. She asked two people to walk us out to our car in case they were waiting out there, and we got in the car and safely drove away. My heart races whenever she tells this story, because it was a miracle people had arrived that fast.
This occurred somewhere around 2015, and she couldn’t call the cops because there was no cell phone service.

when i was four in my old house, i had a closet that was always open. Suddenly i had started to see this woman with white skin and long, black hair that would watch me from the closet. She had a white dot for an eye that glowed in the dark, and one hand would lay on the closet door, but she would never move. I was so terrified i had to pretend I didn’t see her, and eventually i would fall asleep. This continued over a very long time until i had visited my grandmother in the hospital as she was dying. That night, i noticed the woman was a bit outside of the closet. I tried so hard to forget about her, but that night felt very different. Suddenly, she ran out of the closet and jumped on top of me, and was inches from my face. I distinctly remember EVREYTHING going black and i believe i had a dream after that. In the dream, it was morning, and the entire house was quiet. Something was very off, and i went downstairs to find my dad nor my mom were there, and neither was my baby sister. I was terrified and started crying my eyes out and ran back up into my room. But for some reason in my room, it felt like i was seeing through a movie lens, because it zoomed in on this wicker high chair I don’t have and never seen before and two stuffed animals I didn’t have nor seen before, I don’t remember what one of them was but I remember the other one was a monkey. I started screaming crying in the dream, and then I woke up. After that, I never saw the woman in my closet again. Years later, when I was 10 and in a completely different house, I found the stuffed monkey that looked exactly like the one in my dream. I threw it away because it gave me that terrifying feeling I had in the dream. Ever since then I have been terrified of the dark that it makes me cry.
