UPDATING to add that I got my card. It was such a simple process I feel really silly for even asking here. It was a 2 minute phone call and I was picking my stuff up a half hour later. Thanks for all the input!
I just recently accepted a really great salaried position in my field. They are sending me away for 10 weeks for training and paying for my hotel. However, I do not have a car. This job is going to afford me to purchase one and I am on my way to being financially stable and this is such a blessing. From my extended stay to the building I am training it is 7.6 miles and I will have to uber as it isn't a walkable area of the city. I have some saved but estimate myself to be about 300 short of what I will need until I get my first paycheck.
I have a copy of my offer letter which also states the date of my first paycheck which will be direct deposited. I can forward that if needed. Can also provide identification and any other documentation needed. Thank you!
