My thoughts that no one asked for since I cant discuss with my friends since they didnt even want to give this game a shot and Ive put a few hours into the game.

First off I will say I despise extraction shooters I personally think they are one of the worst game modes to be created. Played arc but stayed on the PvE side because the PvP in that game is some of the worst imo (Desync is bad everything feels too heavy ect.) so I didnt have high hopes for it to start but its bungie and Ill buy anything usually with their name on it

Prolly one of the more fluid games ive ever played. Love the combat it feels like an even more crisp destiny. I LOVE the story the opening cinematic had me hooked, the somewhat spooky nature of the universe is not somethin id expect from a FPS and more from a Horror game like Resident Evil but its executed AMAZINGLY here. The art design is great the characters look great the maps look AMAZING I only have one critique. The gun designs imo arnt good, they give me Vow of the Disciple feels and I really didnt like the design of that raids weapons.

The game is pretty forgiving from what ive played so far. What I hated about arc is every loss felt so defeating, in this game I lose? Aight load up the next one. Its very easy to recover items youve lost. The gear doesnt seem to make the biggest difference compared to arc. If I load in with a basic kit and someone has a tempest, Unless i catch them off guard or they just suck ima lose that fight. Ive won a few fights against some blue and even a purple shield. The AI for the most part are pretty fun to fight, seen a lot of the blue shield AI act like Elites from the old Halo games funny enough. One match we were in a building on the first floor and we killed a few soldiers and we waited for the rest to funnel down.... They fucking flanked us and pushed down the hole when we turned around to deal with the flanks.

All in all besides a few nitpicks its a solid game..... its just that its an extraction shooter. A good one but the game play loop is not there for me. I intend to keep playin for the free week and Ill check out the PvE mode when it drops later and hell might even buy the game since its on sale for steam currently and if it supports bungo I can spare the coin.
