Started collecting Hello Kitty cards and got inspired

Although I opened only 9 packs so far, I got a lot of Kuromi cards and she's my favorite! 💕

Hi, I drew a Kawaii character and would like the community opinion

This is Medjed, he is a marshmallow-like Egyptian deity (for real, you can google it lol). I would like to know what you all think of my drawing and if you think it fits the kawaii aesthetic. I'm unsure because it doesn't use pastel tones or may be cute but not what you would normally look into the kawaii theme.

Which visual style do you prefer for a more classic turn based J-RPG?

Recently I've been feeling nostalgic towards the old-school full pixel art of games like classic Pokémon or Chrono Trigger. I think they're amazing, a very comfy and immersive style that allows my imagination to roam free completing the gaps that the pixel art can't fill. This includes the lack of voice acting as I can imagine how each character sounds. But the lack of quality of life features turns some old games into a chore sometimes.

Looking at recent releases in search of a title that looks retro, but has quality of life features, I see more and more of HD-2D games that don't really hit it for me. So I asked myself is the community really leaning more towards HD-2D nowadays? Or is it just the classic "I think we should so we will" that executives love to force their teams because they're egocentric? That's why I'm bringing this question to you guys. (I added the 3D styles to the options to grasp a better picture overall)

Feel free to tell me more about your vote choice in the comments! I'm really curious about how the community feels about this topic.
