Ive been doing japanese as a hobby and likely i will be skipping from Japanese 2 to Ap japanese. I will likely take the ap exam before the class as i cant really write right now. I know the kanji just not how to write it.

How much of japanese culture will i need to know? How specific is the culture like history stuff or just as simple as myabe "japanese people bow", "they say ____ after eating"
