House of Rags is a really disappointing company to buy things from

I've honestly reached the point where I think THOR should be grateful they don't have a visible Google Reviews presence, because if they did, it would be rough.

I've placed somewhere between 5 and 10 orders with The House of Rags over the last couple of years, and I can confidently say that almost every order has had some kind of issue.

I've experienced:

• Wrong items shipped

• Leaking products upon arrival

• Orders sitting for weeks before shipping

• Poor communication regarding delays

The frustrating part is that this isn't a one time mistake. Everybody makes mistakes. The problem is the consistency. When nearly every order has a problem, it stops feeling like bad luck and starts feeling like a systemic issue.

I keep giving them another chance because the detailing community talks highly about some of their products, but eventually enough is enough. Customers should not have to wonder whether they're going to receive the correct order, whether products will arrive damaged, or whether the order will actually ship in a reasonable timeframe.

If THOR spent half as much effort fixing fulfillment and quality control as they do on marketing and social media, they would probably have far fewer unhappy customers.

Just my experience, but after 5 to 10 orders with recurring issues, I can no longer recommend ordering from them.

From an S3 to a C43

After a year with my 2024 Audi S3, I finally made the jump into a 2026 Mercedes-AMG C43 and honestly… I get it now.

The S3 was an awesome car quick, lightweight, understated, and ridiculously easy to live with. It punched way above its weight and always felt eager. But the C43 just feels like a completely different class of car.

Everything feels more dramatic in the AMG. The interior, the exhaust, the steering feel, the ambient lighting, the overall presence… it turns every drive into an event in a way the S3 never quite did. The S3 felt like a really good sporty sedan. The C43 feels special every time I start it.

I was worried I’d miss the smaller size and simplicity of the Audi, but so far I haven’t looked back once. The AMG ride/handling balance surprised me too way sharper than I expected for something that feels this refined. Sport+ with the AMG dynamics modes has been addicting.

No hate at all toward the S3 because I still think it’s one of the best bang-for-the-buck daily drivers out there, but the C43 just feels like the more emotional car overall. Getting this car has been a high watermark for me.

Getting this car was a very big deal for me. I am coming from an S3. so far, I absolutely love this car! I wanted to get in before the body style changes. I am happy to be here!
