I am not trying to offend anyone. When I was younger (12-16) I did Wushu with regular "training". This felt more like learning a dance and less like a martial art. I am planning to spend a year in a university in China and they offer Kungfu courses.
Now my questions are if the schools in china are more serious than the ones in the west?

Hi, I am planning on moving to chongqing for a year to do a language program with a uni. I wanted to rent an apartment but am unsure if I should prioritize looking on rednote or on other apps...what do you think?
I have been to chongqing before, so I am not super unfamliar with the area. Also I am european and speak little to no chinese yet.

basically the title. I cannot understand how I can really need that for a self funded non degree language program...All the other universities did not ask fo that so I am very confused now..
Can I do a Chinese Language Program at a university in china like chongqing with very very poor chinese? Do they have class where they start from 0?
I am asking because I saw that they are tought in Chinese.
I will finish my bachelors in EE and am thinking about gowing to china for a year and learn chinese at a university and then coming back to do masters(subsea or energy engineering) in europe.
How helpful will it be for me and for my cv to have basic chinese on there, maybe HSK 4 or 5?
