it’s just so so so annoying. m5 ipad pro 13inch battery at 100% (the thing doesn’t even have 3 months since opened) and it blows 30% battery in like an hour. i’ve tried everything (turn off sync, turn off maths and even handwriting recognition) and nothing seems to work. i’m seriously considering switching apps cause i feel this is not safe for my device at all. so awful, goodnotes devs are working backwards ffs
my professor gave us this problem:
“if x^2+1=0, then x is a real number”
i understand i need to set my variables first:
- p: x^2+1=0
- q: x is a real number
i have an conditional so it goes like this: p->q
here’s where i’m stuck: i know x is gonna be imaginary if i solve for x, but what does that mean for p’s truth value? cause in my mind x^2+1=0 would be true (i^2 is -1, +1 equals 0 and there’s no restriction for antecedent) but q would be false since solving p shows x is imaginary and not real, is that reasoning okay?
maybe i’m drowning in a glass of water but please, if you can shed a light i’d be really grateful, formal logic is not one of my strong topics 😔
okay soo, my mom’s birthday is third week of may and i want to get her some makeup (high end makeup) cause she never buys herself some but i know she would like to. finally i have some decent budget (like 300 usd just for her gift) so i need ideas specially from people her age (cause i know product preferences vary a lot between age groups and i’d like to get recommendations based on experience and daily use)
she’s had on her wishlist a chanel cc cream for a while so i’m buying that already but want to get her more things. i’d appreciate any suggestions or advice cause i really want to gift her a good (and mostly useful) makeup kit.
for reference she has combination skin (oily t zone then dry skin) and has some expression marks.
