I need a couple of verses translated for class. Not a Hindu, just interested in the Mahabharata.

Please forgive my ignorance, if I ever offend you in anything I may say. My intention is to learn and not offend anyone.

Verse: Prāṇātyaye vivāhe ca vaktavyaṁ anṛtaṁ bhavet, Prāṇānāṁ rakṣaṇārthāya nānṛtaṁ pātakaṁ bhavet.

I know this verse mentions that a white lie is not a sin if spoken to save lives or in matters of marriage.

Question: What if the matter of marriage is regarding the (kumari) virginity of the bride? Is this still valid? Why is marriage akin to a matter of life and death?

Verse: Na viśeṣo 'sti varṇānāṁ sarvaṁ brāhmam idaṁ jagat, Brahmaṇā pūrva-sṛṣṭaṁ hi karmabhir varṇatāṁ gatam.

This verse mentions that all beings were created equal when created by Bharama. Humans have been subdivided into casts by their jobs.

Question: Who has divided humans, if not Bharama? If a human is born, which of his acts assigns his caste? Why is the phase of existence where a cast is assigned?

Personal doubt: Does this mean that caste is a man-made concept and not divine?

After weeks of overthinking SUVs, reliability threads, dealership pricing, AWD vs FWD debates, and slowly losing my sanity browsing AutoTrader...

I finally bought a 2021 Rogue SV with ~30k km. Paid around C$26k for it!

Clean Carfax, dealer maintained, negotiated it down a bit, and honestly just decided to stop chasing the “perfect deal.”

I originally thought I needed AWD, but ended up with FWD after realizing that good winter tires matter more, I don’t do extreme snow driving, the lower mileage mattered more to me.

In the end, the low mileage + simpler 2.5L engine on the 2021 won me over.

This was actually the first dealership I visited.

I basically went: “Veni, vidi, vici.”

Except instead of conquering Gaul, I bought a Nissan Rogue.

Hopefully I made the right choice 😅

Any advice from long-term 2021 owners? Especially:

maintenance tips, CVT care, winter tire recommendations, accessories/mods worth buying?

I am also looking for recommendations for leather seat covers and floor mats. I have a messy preschooler and need to keep my car clean!
