First pic Is may 25. The last 2 are from today. One has fully finished flowering and the other is in the process of it. I tried to self pollinate but the first one didn’t hit I’m hoping for the 2nd one. As you can see in the container they were death blooming and would’ve died from lack of light not from blooming. I stuck them in full sun with the flowers in an attempt to see if they would die from flowering. They didn’t. They’re growing well! Don’t be afraid to let your plants flower. Yes they’re tiny but in another month or two they’ll fully recover and get going. They’re all alive idk where I put the 3rd one tho lol but Ik it’s alive somewhere.

Didn’t even cause the trap to rot. Both fed at the same time trap happily reopened. They can’t be overfed. I’ve fed every trap on the plant at the same time. Can’t overfeed them. Hasn’t ever stopped growing. I do use the nutricote method of feeding that Will ratcliff created tho. But always cool to see the exoskeletons.

Delete if I can’t post but I have a ALOT of vft typical seeds and would be willing to sell some. 9 for a pack of at least 20. Only mailing within the US . Send me a DM. And I’ll get them out to you. The seeds were first harvested on 6/15/2026 super fresh and some plants are still making seeds. Germination should be very high.

They always impress me. Nothing beats a good old “generic” vft.

I got these from lowes a few weeks ago and they were death blooming in the container. Theyre now in full sun yk proper care. I left the flowers I really do want to see if it’ll die or if it will continue to live after flowering. I will also be pollinating them and seeing if theyll give viable seeds. I’m very curious and will keep y’all updated lol.

1st pic is last year when I repotted. 2nd pic is last week. You can’t overfeed VFTs 😭🙏. I kept every trap on this plant fed year round. There wasn’t ever an open trap. Want nice long roots like this? Let your plant dry out a bit in between waterings 😏
