Celestial Seasonings Fast Lane Recipe created
After a few days of experimentation and taste testing, I think I found the right ratio of ingredients to replicate the now departed Celestial Seasonings Fast Lane tea. The following recipe makes a good test batch for you to work with. Idk if it'll have the same amount of caffeine, tho.
15g Assam tea (I used Bigelow Peak Energy)
1.5g cinnamon
1g eleuthero powder (Siberian ginseng 4:1 extract)
1g yerba mate
.5g kola nut powder
.3g-.5g licorice powder
pinch nutmeg
Go easy on the licorice and yerba mate (the latter is somewhat optional). I used a gram scale for accuracy and adjustment.
Too sweet → reduce licorice.
Too spicy → reduce cinnamon.
Missing what you feel is that CS flavor? Add a tiny drop of vanilla to your cup.
