The treasure hunt

What a fantastic puzzle! Took me a couple hours I think around 3? Would have been faster but I had to restart twice because very deep in because I missed a row a specific person could be in and incorrectly made a 2 pair duo which kept giving me no squares to place J lol. I won’t get into any specifics until the puzzle is over but there are three extremely cool chains that really lock everything in place. Goodluck to everyone else hope you find success it was really fun

Reporting 3rd party scams

Is there somewhere to report 3rd party’s using murdokus name and IP from selling books? I fell victim to a scam myself before buying the official copies and today saw another ad promoting the same garbage on a new site. Would rather no one else fell for these crooks

Marionette + Lunatic

I’m running a script that contains a marionette and a lunatic. I was wondering how the rules are handled if during the character selection the demon ends up sandwiched between his known minion and the lunatic? Is this a situation where you’d need to alter the normal minion during set up to ensure this cannot happen? Was wondering if anyone ran into this and the appropriate way to handle the situation, since the marionette must think they are good while the lunatic thinks they are evil

Beginner + script feedback

Hello I wanted to ask for some feedback for a relatively newer group. My group has played in person 3 times usually 2-3 games per session about once per year. Usually we have a few new comers each game day. This last run we tried playing a different script outside of trouble brewing and my players really had a hard time with the new roles (S&V and one BMR game) My goal in this script is making a “troubled brewing” like script that flows fairly similarly with a few character changes and four demon choices with the intent to broaden my player groups experience without overwhelming them. I’d like any feedback from people who have a lot of experience to draw on, if you think this will work as a good next step from trouble brewing, or any issues or recommendations you might have! I’d really appreciate any and all feedback, criticisms and/or advice

Upcoming game feedback

Playing in person BOTC this weekend. This will be roughly my 8th game played as ST with most people having between 3-8 games themselves and a couple of new comers. I never run a spy game in trouble brewing and wanted to incorporate one without being (imo) too unbalanced. My rolllist is as follows

1)imp 2)SW 3)Spy 4)Drunk lib 5)recluse 6)monk 7)slayer 8)investigator 9)washerwoman 10)fortune teller 11)undertaker 12)ravenkeeper
Bluffs- saint, empath, virgin
Washerwoman-monk* and ravenkeeper
Investigator- spy and ravenkeeper
Drunk lib-saint (imp/scarlet woman)

I know ravenkeeper in a spy game is mostly not done but I think the counterplay (if they survive the invest ping) makes an interesting decision dynamic for evil. Do they kill the semi-confirmed RK? Or leave them till final 3? The spy has a lot of useful information and evil can counterplay with empath/saint, or go virgin route to try and mislynch one good townie for a probably accurate lynch on themselves later. Gives evil a problem of who to kill first without some protection from the drunk librarian.

What are your thoughts, criticisms or recommendations? Any issues you see arising? I can see this game making it safely to final 3 without an outcome being a bygone conclusion
