Confused

Should I take coaching for AMC MCQ? Confused with only ~3 months left
Hi everyone, I’m preparing for the AMC MCQ exam in November, and I’m feeling quite confused about my preparation strategy.
I actually attempted the AMC MCQ previously and scored 241.
At the moment, I’m doing MCQs on eMedici, but I feel that the question style is different from the actual AMC exam. I also feel that my revision isn’t strong enough, and because the exam is getting closer, I’m starting to worry that I don’t have a proper strategy.
I’m considering joining an AMC-specific coaching program, but I’m confused about whether coaching is actually necessary or whether I should continue with self-study and change my approach.
For those who have already passed AMC MCQ, especially anyone who improved significantly after a previous attempt:
Do you think coaching is worth it?
Which resources/questions did you find closest to the actual AMC exam?
How did you structure your preparation in the last 3 months?
If you were in my position — 241 previously, what would you do?
I’d really appreciate honest advice. I don’t want to waste the next few months studying without a proper strategy.
Thank you!

AMC

Hi everyone,

I'm currently preparing for the AMC MCQ exam and was wondering if anyone has AMC First Aid notes or Emergency Focus notes they're willing to share. I'd really appreciate any study material, summaries, or high-yield notes that helped you pass.

Thank you so much in advance, and best of luck to everyone preparing for the exam!

PMDD(help please)

I’m a woman in my 20s preparing for an important medical exam, and I think I may have PMDD. It’s seriously affecting my life, studies, sleep, and mental health, so I wanted to ask if anyone has experienced something similar and what actually helped them.

A few days before my periods, I get:
- severe anxiety and emotional overwhelm
- brain fog and inability to concentrate
- insomnia / disturbed sleep
- leg cramps and body discomfort
- extreme irritability and hopelessness
- low motivation and feeling mentally exhausted

It’s become so bad that it’s affecting my exam preparation and daily functioning. I used to be able to study properly, but now I feel mentally “stuck” during this phase every month.

I’m trying non-medication approaches first because I’m scared of side effects. Right now I’m:
- taking magnesium
- hydrating well
- trying to walk in the morning

But honestly I still feel awful, especially the sleep issues and emotional symptoms.

For people who have PMDD:
- what helped you the most?
- did therapy or psychiatry help?
- any non-medication things that genuinely worked?
- how do you manage studying/work during luteal phase?
- did anyone else have insomnia and leg cramps too?

I’d really appreciate hearing real experiences because I feel very alone with this right now.
