New lovebird eating pellets!

Just sharing my positive experience!

I got a second lovebird who was used to a primarily seed diet so I was worried about the transition to pellets. I was told she did eat chop so that was a good start at least!

During quarantine she was struggling to adjust so I didn’t want to overwhelm her by changing her food too much. I did start adding some pellets in with the chop and she picked at it but didn’t seem to eat the pellets.

Well I finally moved her to the same room as my other bird and decided to add a bowl of pellet parallel to his bowl so maybe she’d mirror him and it worked! As soon as she saw him eat his pellets she started eating hers! It’s only day 2 of this and she seems to be eating more pellet than seed!

On a side note they’ve been calling to each other and there’s been lots of positive body language too! I have a feeling they’re going to get along great!

▲ 29 r/ADHD

Different Adderall manufacturer causes side effects/ can’t change it for 30 days.

(This is kinda a rant but looking for advice or people who’ve had similar issues)

I’ve been diagnosed with ADHD for 3 years and have been on 20mg of instant release for 2 years.

I got my refill Friday and noticed the pill looked different for the first time but Ik they switch manufacturers sometimes so I didn’t think much of it.
For context I’ve always taken Teva and the new one is mallinckodt.

I’ve only taken it twice and both times I felt so out of it. I got extreme brain fog, visual trails, and confusion. I was literally forgetting what I was talking about mid sentence. It was so terrible I literally felt like I was high.

I called the pharmacy and they were actually understanding saying they’ve had other people on adhd meds with similar issues. They noted on my file to only fill with Teva but said they cant refill it before 30 days without a new script.

Called my doctor and they weren’t rude or anything but were kinda confused about what was going on and there was a lot of back and forth. They said they can’t write a new prescription unfortunately.

So I guess I’m just screwed for the next 28 days.
