Anyone else rebuilding their social circle?

Hey! I'm a woman in my mid-30s looking to make some genuine new friends around London.

Dating hasn't quite worked out the way I'd hoped, and I've realised most of my close friends are now in a different stage of life with partners, kids and busy family lives. I'd love to meet people who are also looking to build their friendship circle and enjoy doing things together.

Ideally I'd love to meet other women around their mid-30s and older, or anyone at a similar stage of life. I'm only looking for friendships (nothing romantic), although I don't mind whether you're male or female as long as you're genuinely looking for friendship too.

I'm up for coffee, walks, hikes, trying new restaurants, pub quizzes, fitness classes, day trips, or anything that gets us out of the house.

If any of that sounds like you, send me a message! 😊

EDIT: A couple of people asked me to describe myself a bit more.

I'd say I'm someone who really enjoys good conversations, whether that's talking about life, having a laugh, or just exchanging random thoughts and stories.

Life hasn't quite gone the way I thought it would, but instead of dwelling on that, I'm trying to make the most of it. I want to experience the things I've missed out on, keep trying new things, and push myself outside my comfort zone.

I'm a pretty loyal friend and tend to put a lot into the people I care about. I'd love to build friendships where that effort goes both ways - the kind where you genuinely show up for each other, celebrate the good times and support each other through the tougher ones.

At the end of the day, I'm just hoping to meet kind, genuine people who are looking for the same.

[12/07/26] Monthly Book Club Launch - Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop @ Central London

Hi everyone,

A few of us are starting a monthly book club and would love some new people to join.

Our first book is Welcome to the Hyunam-Dong Bookshop and we'll be meeting to discuss it on:

📅 12/07/26
📍 Central London (exact venue TBC)

The idea is simple: read one book per month, meet up for a relaxed discussion, and get to know new people.

No pressure if you haven't quite finished the book by then, you're still very welcome to come along.

Our second book will be Before the Coffee Gets Cold, which should give a sense of the kind of thoughtful, reflective books we're interested in reading.

We're currently a small group in our 30s, but anyone who enjoys books and good conversation is welcome. A few of us know each other already, but the aim of the club is to meet new people and grow the group over time.

If you'd like to come along, leave a comment or send me a message. I'll share the final venue details closer to the date.
