French tarragon question

I got this French tarragon split this spring from someone who lives in the metro. I live about 130 miles north of there.

I’m curious if I should do anything to protect it and also how much I can cut it back without taking too much. The person who gave me the cutting said it’s very robust and spreads like a weed.

It’s just two stems. It’s very tall and leggy.

Advice on how to get my child to shower more frequently?

I understand the why showering increases body dysmorphia. But that doesn’t eliminate the need to for showering.

I’ve allowed them to choose their own bath products and deodorant. It’s still an argument every time. Please help. Thank you.
