So I start a short summer course Monday at the uni I’ll be attending in September - and another short summer course at the same uni in July.
I don’t get out much.
I don’t drink, I don’t do drugs.
I’m quite anxious and don’t really put myself out there unless I know an answer etc.
I’m in pain 24/7 so getting to and from the uni will take a lot of energy anyway.
I’m a full time wheelchair user so they’ll only know me in my chair and I don’t know many that would be mates with someone who’s disabled due to changing plans etc - not everyone’s up for that.
My question is, how am I meant to make friends at uni? I’m 22 and would love to make mates but I just feel like I might not be able to.
Any help’s appreciated, I’m struggling with the thought of being alone at the uni for 4years..

So I’m starting physio today and I wondered if anyone else here with a neurological condition has done it in their chair?
Anytime I’ve done physio in the past I’ve basically been left to deal with it myself and it’s made my pain worse. But I’m currently sat in the waiting room of the hospital physio unsure of what’s going to happen/work etc going forward with it.
Understandable if this isn’t allowed!
