Zo niet dan heb je het inderdaad geprobeerd, hij was twee jaar geleden nog Kroatische international. Veel slechter zou het niet kunnen dan Borges en Diarra op dit moment. Wat denken jullie hierover?
My Thoughts on the Kaina Reveal After Replaying the Game
A lot of people don’t like the Kaina reveal, and I can understand why. At first, I also thought the ending was a bit lackluster.
However, after replaying the entire game and specifically looking for signs about Kaina, I actually think the reveal makes a lot more sense than I initially thought. There are several things throughout the game that become much more interesting once you know who Kaina is.
Why I Understand the Criticism
I think one of the main reasons people dislike the Kaina reveal is because they wanted the story to finally start reaching a conclusion.
We just defeated Storm-9 and Vitus, so suddenly introducing another major threat can make those victories feel less important. Instead of the story moving toward its conclusion, it can feel like another villain has simply been added.
I understand that criticism.
I also don’t really like how Kieran and Clear came back, especially after the conclusions to their stories. However, knowing that Kaina was Madame X all along at least gives a reason for why they could return.
Why Would Kaina Wait Until Now?
One criticism I’ve seen is: if Kaina is so important and powerful, why did she wait this long to reveal herself?
But I actually think this makes sense.
She seems to have needed several things to happen first, such as:
The Karma Hourglass
The Archetype
The correct timing/year
The MC and the others being weakened
There could obviously be more that we don’t know yet.
And if Kaina was waiting for all these conditions, it makes sense that she would act now. Why would she wait for the MC and everyone else to recover and regain their full strength?
If this is the moment where everything she needs has finally fallen into place, then this might actually be the best possible moment for her to reveal herself.
Was Kaina Really Not Foreshadowed?
I’ve also seen people say that Kaina was never mentioned or foreshadowed anywhere before the reveal.
I don’t think that’s completely true.
There isn’t a huge amount of foreshadowing, but after replaying the game, I noticed that there are definitely some strange things surrounding Madame X.
One thing I noticed is that Madame X seems to act differently depending on whether she is inside or outside the castle. Knowing what we know now, that becomes much more interesting.
And I actually think it would be strange if Kaina had been mentioned constantly throughout the game.
The entire point is that nobody knows who she really is. If the game constantly talked about Kaina, both the player and eventually the characters would start expecting her.
Her reveal is supposed to come seemingly out of nowhere, while still having enough clues that you can look back afterward and realize something was going on.
The Cellar Tower Scene
One of the biggest things for me is the Cellar Tower scene after Melia gets sacrificed by Angie.
Madame X speaks backwards during this scene. I believe Dred has a video where you can hear what she is actually saying.
She talks about the World Shatterer and says that they have played this “game” before. She also mentions that the Interceptor betrayed her at some point.
With the Kaina reveal, this scene becomes much more important.
My theory is that she could be referring to the world that Kaina and the MC/Interceptor destroyed together in the past.
That could potentially be the destroyed world that M2 comes from.
If that is what she is talking about, then this would mean that the relationship between Kaina and the Interceptor has actually been hinted at for a long time.
Who Deleted Adrest?
There is also the mystery surrounding Adrest.
Adrest was deleted, but we still don’t really know who was responsible.
Like most people, I originally assumed it was Variya. But after the Kaina reveal, I’m starting to wonder if Kaina could have been responsible instead.
Kaina was an Interceptor before. Because of that, maybe she still has some kind of influence over the Zeight.
If she does, perhaps she was able to use that influence to delete Adrest.
There isn’t enough evidence to say this is definitely what happened, so this is still just a theory. But I think it has become a much more interesting possibility after the reveal.
Renegade Spoilers From Here
I really recommend playing Renegade—or at least watching it—before reading further, because I think Renegade makes the Kaina situation even more interesting.
Kaina and the Renegade MC
Renegade shows us another important connection: the relationship between Kaina and Zenos, the Renegade MC.
I’ve seen people ask whether this means that the MC is actually a completely different character in Renegade.
I don’t think so.
The MC is still the MC. Instead, it seems like the Renegade MC is being used by Melia—and possibly the Paragon MC—to harvest the world that Zenos exists in: Base Node 0.5.
At the ending, we see Melia and the Paragon MC working together.
But then something interesting happens.
Zenos gets saved by Kaina.
Meanwhile, M2 gets saved by Storm-9.
I don’t think those two things are meaningless.
Could We See Kaina & Zenos vs. Melia & Paragon MC?
This makes me think we might eventually see a clash between these different sides.
We now potentially have:
Kaina + Zenos
against
Melia + Paragon MC
I could even see this becoming some kind of double battle later in the story.
Kaina saving Zenos is especially interesting because I doubt she did it for no reason. She clearly has some kind of plan for him.
And considering everything surrounding M2, Storm-9, Kaina, and the different versions of the MC, I think V15 could involve these different sides starting to clash with each other.
What Are Melia and the MC Planning?
There is also another mystery that I think people sometimes overlook.
Melia and the MC are clearly plotting something.
We know that they are harvesting worlds, but we still don’t really know why.
What are they harvesting them for?
What is their actual end goal?
The fact that Melia and the Paragon MC appear to be working together suggests that there is a much bigger plan happening in the background that we still don’t understand.
I assume this is something that will become much more important in V15/V16.
Final Thoughts
Overall, I understand why people don’t like the Kaina reveal.
When I first finished the game, I also thought the ending was a little lackluster. After defeating Storm-9 and Vitus, introducing Kaina can initially feel like the story is suddenly adding another villain instead of moving toward a conclusion.
But after replaying the entire game, I changed my mind quite a bit.
I don’t think Kaina comes completely out of nowhere. There are hints throughout the game—especially some of Madame X’s dialogue—that become much more interesting once you know the truth.
Her timing also makes sense if she needed the Karma Hourglass, the Archetype, the correct year, and everyone else to be weakened before she could finally act.
And Renegade makes everything even more interesting because of her connection to Zenos.
So while I still have some problems with the ending—especially Kieran and Clear returning—I actually really like the direction the story could be going now.
I just hope they do M2 and Zenos justice, because I think both of them have a lot of potential.
I’m really curious to see what happens in V15.

Spoilers for Renegade and Paragon V14 + New Game+
I finished Renegade yesterday, and today I started my New Game+. (I really recommend it! It changes a few things, includes some exclusive lore cutscenes, and gives awesome rewards.)
I thought I’d share my thoughts, and I’m curious to hear what you guys think. I’ve seen a lot of mixed opinions, but personally I really liked it. All the fights were tough and really made you think. The story was good, although it was totally different from what I expected. I definitely need to play through both routes again to fully understand everything, but overall I think it was great.
I really liked the conclusion to the Nymeria/Vitus arc, but personally I don’t think the Kaina part happened at the right moment. I saw someone on this subreddit say it would have been better if it had happened in the next update, and I agree. The timing just felt off, and maybe there should have been more hints through side quests.
Also, aren’t we supposed to be dead now? If I remember correctly, we only had one revive left, so I don’t think it really matters anymore.
Personally, I expected Zeight to play a much bigger role in the story. It only got mentioned, and unless I’m forgetting something, we never even entered it. Still, the story was really solid, and I can’t wait for V15 (or V14.5 for those who’ve played New Game+ ;)).
I also wanted to talk about Madame X’s reveal. A lot of people disliked it, but personally I think the first reveal was handled well. However, revealing that she was Kaina the second time felt a bit strange. I definitely didn’t expect it, but I think it might have worked better if Madame X had simply been her own character.
Looking back at everything Madame X does throughout the game, it does make some sense, but it also feels like that information is suddenly dropped on us. Renegade confused me even more—although that might just be because it was late when I finished it.
At first, I thought the Renegade MC was simply providing resources to the Paragon MC, but after the conversation with Melia, it doesn’t really seem like they’re working together anymore. So now I’m not really sure what our goal is. Are we working with Kaina, or not? At the end of Paragon, Kaina mentions she’s working with another MC. Is she talking about the Renegade one?
Clear and Kieran also call us the Prince or Princess, and we receive what looks like a crown. Does that mean they consider Kaina their queen?
And what exactly happened in the New Game+ prologue? Kaina got nuked, right? If that’s the case, how is she able to fight us later if she died in the past?
So I still have a lot of questions, and I really hope we get some answers in the next update.

I think I've watched the teaser for the 10th time now, searching for clues about V14. I know the Interceptor outfit before Madame X was also interesting, but I found something else. This was shown with Madame X. The silhouettes change every time maybe that's a clue about Madame X? What do you think? Is it just a coincidence? I cant wait for v14!!!
What would you personally like to see in the game? Personally, I would like to see more aevian forms. Especially of lucario, because that is my favorite. But I really love the designs of all of them.
Goedemorgen kameraden, Summerville speelt een sterk wk en gaat waarschijnlijk een transfer maken. Ik vroeg mij af, krijgt Feyenoord omdat hij in de jeugd bij Feyenoord speelde, een percentage van de transfersom? En hoeveel procent krijgt Feyenoord?
Misschien terug naar Feyenoord? ;) Ondanks dat het seizoen niet heel goed ging, wel een rare beslissing. Met het overlijden van jota en de blessures, wel gewoon champions league gehaald. Wat vinden jullie hiervan?
Te kloese neemt natuurlijk afscheid van Feyenoord na dit seizoen. Ondanks dat hij als technisch directeur het niet perse heel goed heeft gedaan. Heeft hij het (vind ik) het goed gedaan als algemeen directeur. Hij heeft Feyenoord financieel een stuk sterker op de kaart gezet. Ondanks dat ik het niet eens ben met zijn transfers, en het aanhouden van van Persie. Vind het nergens persoonlijk op slaan dat sommigen heb bedreigen/uitschelden.
