They advertise heavily how it’s all to benefit a local charity but holy shit their prices are actually insane.
$45 for a vase
$25 for what looks like a child’s pottery project
$18 for a mechanical pencil sharpener
$30 for an old art notebook missing a few pages
$90 for some chalice thing hanging out among the old china sets
I bought this Oncidium sharry baby in spike last August from Hausermann orchids (last pic)
I was not prepared for how fast it grew only really having grown phals beforehand. It’s at least tripled in size and I’ve had to repot it multiple times over the last year.
I can’t recommend this orchid enough, it’s an easy fast grower and smells heavenly.
I bought a lava rock and dragon stone at a local aquarium store to try making some ping rocks.
I’ve been propagating some of my pings over the last few months to have some ready to go and finally bit the bullet and tried assembling them today.
The aquarium store also had cheap Java moss I picked up to try and grow in the fluval stratum, and I added some U. Sandersonii I had on hand as well.
Fingers crossed it works out!
