Hi everyone! As my last resort i am asking strangers for help on a subreddit lol I'll try to make this as short as possible I am a 30 yr old male who developed seb derm during the pandemic 2020 i 1000% believe the ppe masks were the culprit since my redness and bumpiness were along the t-zones of the masks.

My pcp diagnosed and referred me so far to two derms my current derm diagnosed me with acne/rosacea and has me undergo light led therapy which is not helping, my initial symptoms were flakey eyelids/brows, white reddish bumps on the face, red bumps on scalp. The scalp and flakey eyelids/brows bumps disappeared with keto shampoo. I have tried everything keto shampoo/cream does wonder to manage redness on face, azelaic (no results even after consistent use), and doxy 100mg removed the bumps on my skin.

I asked for a re-evaluation recently and she brushed me off insisting it is rosacea! I get no triggers/flushing with the "rosacea" only when applying pressure to the skin or hot showers i do not believe i have co occuring conditions. My diet has always been shitty and I am a regular alcohol drinker since I turned 21 straight tequila is the only thing i drink. I always had little to no acne growing up so i am just confused at this point.

My only saving grace has been skin laundry membership facials! Attached is the evolution of my condition, the last picture is the current state of my scalp with the stress seb derm is causing the picture was taken Sat 6-6-2026 since then mct oil has reduced the redness!
