Both trash finds from today work

The trinitron is a 20" screen and easily the clearest image I've seen yet on any CRT

SONY VAIO PCV-RZ10CG driver help please

SONY VAIO PCV-RZ10CG the original owner made me remove the hard drive because it had been a business computer. Installed new hdd, installed Windows XP sp3. Many drivers are missing but right now I just want the audio to function. I'm embarrassingly 10 hours deep on this project. I've installed Realtec AC'97, Yamaha AC-Xg, and SIS sound a12112d. Hardware ID points to it being an SIS chip, included a photo. I've removed instances of the failed drivers from the registry, extracted the .inf files from the EXEs and tried to direct windows to those INF files. I always end up with one of two errors: Code 10: device failed to start or the wizard tells me that something under that driver name already exists. Even when I've deleted it from the registry. Unable to find correct recovery media in online archives, I've tried. Please help. This PC is a piece of history and I don't want to trash it.

Free grab

From a local business that was closing. Owner made me remove the hdd. BIOS was too old to boot from a thumb drive. Had to run to best buy for an external disc burner. Windows XP is finally installing.

Vaio PCV-RZ10CG

Owner made me remove original HDD, was their old family business computer. BIOS doesn't support external boot. OMW to best buy for a USB disc burner! Found online discussion that say drivers may be an issue for old Sony computers but I'll work it one step at a time! I think I found the correct drivers on vaioarchive.

Can I power this Wang WLTC with a modern generic 18v DC power supply?

Might be a dumb question but I stumbled into a collection of vintage machines by chance with no previous experience. This one by far seems the most rare. I have all the peripherals except the power supply. Generic 18v won't fry it, right?

CRT / Vintage Computing Jackpot

Rando guy was allowing people to pick through his parents' closed business because he didn't want everything to be trashed. I found the computer room. My wife and I spent 4 hours and 3 trips to clear EVERY crt and computer from that house. This was an awesome experience.
