The only one left by Riley Sager

picked The Only One Left because it was all over my instagram as one of the best thrillers. I didn't like it, I was hooked at the start but the ending was so disappointing, all the twists were so unnecessary, it got too much at the end. I've never been a thriller person, I've only read Verity apart from this. Would love some recs!!!

Y'all feel like you're running out of time!!? Just a rant

So I'm 24, and I have been preparing for the judiciary exam! I have 1.5 years of experience as per date of enrollment! I've been giving apo exams but I keep missing the mark by 5-7 marks every time and it's so frustrating with the gk portion. My parents are pretty chill, and I do have good mentors in litigation, who are ready and willing to help me as and when needed. I did give clat for llm, got a decent rank but never applied for counselling, I got a good offer from a corp firm, but didn't take it cause it wouldn't count as experience. Now, I feel stuck and wonder if I'm letting go of all the opportunities that have come my way. I just feel like the clock is ticking and I am exactly where I was when i graduated in 2024!!!
