Skoda Octavia 1.6tdi advice
I bought a 2014 Skoda Octavia new nct back in January,, 360k kms on it ,, got it serviced in March they said everything’s perfect then in July the dpf light came on paid 450 to get that cleared and everything changed got new nct in July then everything perfect .. mechanic suggested getting the timing done soon and then the oil light came on few days after nct he looked he said the injectors ect and needed to do timing belt ,,, today he said who ever did the 2021 timing belt did a dodgy job that it was out of sync by 7 teeth and the only way he could do the timing with out the car valve hitting piston and cutting car out was doing the same thing as previous mechanic or it would be a big big job and that I should get rid of it ??? Any in put please any machinics
