Studio vs Unplugged - Sludge Factory

Day 4/12

My opinion: >! This might be the hardest one to choose, but I think I'm going to go with studio. The vocal layering goes super hard and I love the long outro. There's no denying however that unplugged is incredible with his solo voice and the acoustic guitars, and that iconic fuck up at the start. I listen to both of these pretty much equally.!<

Studio vs Unplugged - No Excuses

Day 3/12

My opinion >! This one's tough but I'm gonna go studio. I like the bass a lot on unplugged but I think the added harmonies, electric guitar and slightly slower tempo take the cake !<

Studio vs. Unplugged - Brother

Day 2/12

My opinion: >! Unplugged, and it's not even close. Layne's added harmony (especially the acapella for the last verse) absolutely takes the cake. I also think the mixing is better and I prefer the acoustic guitar solo. !<

Studio vs Unplugged - Nutshell

Day 1/12 comparing every song on unplugged to their studio counterparts. I'm curious to see the discussions that evolve from this.

My opinion: >! I generally prefer the studio version. I think the electric guitar and Layne's layer ooooos are very important. I also think the drum mix with the heavy kick adds a lot that unplugged doesn't have. That being said, both are incredible. I think unplugged certainly has an emotional depth to it that is unmatched. !<
